count down timer hack? for evergreen launch

I want to create an evergreen campaign that has a count down timer, but I want it to be continous, therefore, I want the countdown timer to automatically start from the moment a new person clicks on the page, and then every email video update that has the timer, is in accordance with that individual person and the time line of when the found it online. Is anyone aware of a technology available to do this? Does my question make sense?

Your question makes sense to me.

The technology isn't all that difficult. It can be accomplished with a custom field in your opt-in that records the time and date of the opt-in. Actually, most AR providers already do this, so you just have to learn how to access the variable (ask support).

The a bit of php or javascript on the individual page captures the opt-in time from the database and does some simple arithmetic before displaying the date.

If you have some tech skills, you can probably find tutorials and demo code you can modify. If not, it should be a fairly straightforward (and therefore cheap) project for a decent coder.
