What ARs to use to backup list? (Solo industry)

I've been using aweber and GR, doing good so far with them.

But just in case something happens to these accounts, I want to import them to another AR first.

1. Does GR allows repetition of a current list? Example I've got 1k subs with them. Can I export it and import into another GR account?

2. Which AR doesn't require a double opt in when importing. (If you know about the solo industry you'd know relying on a double opt in from this list is suicide)

2b. Or if needed, is there any way of bypassing the double opt ins, any other way through it? (Ninja techniques?)

Thanks

Well, you can try emailiq, it's pretty expensive, but it's worth it. Next one is Venntive you can add your list here too, it's cheaper, but it's not that good.

If they allow it, why would you want to do it? You'd then be paying for 2K's worth of subs.

Just export your list to a CSV file and keep it on your HD.

Getresponse is the only one I know of. There may certainly be others. Of course, you can run your own AR on your own server.

If you want a CHEAP backup solution use Create & Send Your Newsletter With Email Marketing Software | INinbox. Their delivery isn't quite as good as Getresponse and Aweber but is still is respectable. This way if your main account goes down, you can use InInbox in the interim while you setup a new Getresponse or Aweber account and work through the list import, etc.

I have imported some emails when I moved to Getresponse so it works with them. No confirmation needed back then. Don't know about Aweber though.

Do those require double opt in?

When the life of your business is dependent on that list, you don't want to be leaving it in a .csv file in your HDD.

Does that have any issues with double opt in?

While I understand why you would want to import into another autoresponder service, I still think it is no use paying for the same leads twice.

Just do a regular export (I do weekly backups), and save them on your computer as well as in at least one online storage service (dropbox, google drive).

If anything does happen, you can import them into GetResponse - as of this comment, they allow imports without confirmation.
