Is That Click Rate Normal

EMAIL MARKETING

Subscribers: 2500
Open Rate: 40%
Click Rate: 7-9%

Is my click rate normal or low? In one month I made only $500 with the list. So my subscriber is worth only .20c (and not $1).. How can I improve click rate / sale rate...

I build my list using solo ads.

What market or niche are you in? That may be high or low depending on the niche involved. How many emails have you been sending to get that $500? Have you scrubbed out the non-openers?

Ohh yes...

My niche is IM (general)

I sending emails every two days.. So in one month I sent 37.500 emails - offers to 2500 subs.

I promote products from clickbank and jvzoo..

I have a few questions about solo ads and email marketing

I spent aprox $3000 on my list so far. In the case if I generate only $500 with list of 2500 subs I need to invest $30.000 to generate $5.000 /mo profit from the lists..

Is my math correct? Well, 30K is a lot of money

What about ad swapping? When can I start with ad swapping?

how many of those emails are promos?

How many emails do you send that engages them and also gives away free valuable content?
