Am I just supposed to wait now?...

So I have been getting my feet wet with this whole email list building venture and am wondering what my next step needs to be before I start seeing some $$$.

My personal goal is to be able to earn $100/day to supplement my 9-5 job. I know it's achievable, I just feel like I can be doing more to jumpstart the process.

So far this is what I've done:

1. Have autoresponder (Aweber) setup and a 14 day follow up series in place.
2. Domain and squeeze page offering a free report, which can be found here (what do you think of it?)
3. The squeeze page redirects to a OTO and I am testing various products.
4. I just began sending traffic to my squeeze page via solo ads and FB traffic.
5. What next?...

A few questions I have:
Do I just sit back and wait now?
How many times should I be emailing my list daily? twice? three times?
Where might I mind some good examples of email swipes so I can get better at writing my own?

So far I have 71 subscribers to my list with 0 sales from the OTO or any offers from the follow up series.

All responses are appreciated!

With all due respect, I think there's an integrity issue if you are offering $500/day when your personal goal is $100/day. Maybe you aren't passing the sniff test.

Similarly, you are teaching email marketing, but you are trying to learn email marketing. Again, this is a little strange.

You've got to find a better way to SERVE them.

      You are correct.

This is very common on WF.

Just another reason to be very careful who you listen to!

Too much information. Too many words... too many claims...

    But that's just my opinion.

Selling is NEVER a job of a squeeze page. It's ONLY job is to get someone curious enough to enter their email address. You don't have a cover shot of your free gift - you should do that.

There are a number of excellent WSO's on the topic of your email series... but I've found that the best education can be free. START JOINING LISTS. I belong to several dozen, and I pay attention to what people say... you'll learn quite a bit by doing this.

You'll learn the different *types* of list building, and learn to recognize them in their emails... you'll start to be able to spot an adswap, or a solo ad. You'll find which list builders churn & burn, and which ones prefer to develop a relationship.

You'll go a lot further if you create your own products... they don't have to be WSO's, but it would be helpful.

Work on building free traffic... Bryan Harkins has an excellent WSO on how he built 23,232 subs in 8 months for free. (it works, too!) List building is not about pushing a button, but building a real online business.

    Are you in business?

Or just trying to make a buck?

    Hope this helps...
