What to do when you can't think of any Follow ups or Broadcasts to Write ?

I had a question from a Subscriber the other day about this ,and I think it is very important to address it.

As it can be a big problem for many.

What to do when you just cannot think of anything to write to your List ?

Well, here is a simple and seemingly obvious technique I use a lot. Now this may be more applicable to the MMO niche, but I think in some instances it can be used universally.

What I do is I write 30 unique, quality Follow Ups. Then after 30 or so, I just go back and see which ones have the highest Open Rates and Click Rates....and reuse them.

If you want you can change them up a little with the Subject line, maybe even the Body.

But from my experience, it does not matter.

Subscribers in many cases do not even remember what you sent them last week, let alone last month.

Just remember these Emails need to have some quality stuff in them so it will benefit your Readers when they take a second look at them.

Its a win-win, really.

Anyway, just a tip I use that I thought might help some here.

One of the tremendous advantages of being on so many other lists (some of the best education you can get totally free!) - is that I never run short of ideas.

    I have too many, really.

Not enough time to get to everything!

But I'll pass along a good tip - and this really should be a WSO. Pickup every "Bathroom Reader" type book you can find... lots of short snippet stories that can inform, entertain, and fill blank spaces in your email series... Do you know who invented sliced bread?

      Thanks Ben.

I also use this technique....I will go to some really highly successful Online Marketers ( Think Dan Kennedy, Frank Kerns, Ryan Deiss ) and make a bee line straight to their Sales Pages and notice some of the HIGHLIGHTED text within the Sales Letter .

Remember, some of these Marketers like Frank Kern literally spend millions testing Subject Lines, Promo Swipes etc... so you can find some gold nuggets to give you ideas of what you can use for a Subject Line or Follow up material.

Do not directly copy of course but just build your own Copy using some of these ideas you gather from their Sales Pages

      This really is effective !!

You can also apply this in Non- IM Niches too. For instance ,in the Weight Loss Niche you could go to Jillian Michael and her Sales Pages/Blog. Look at some of the HIGHLIGHETD words in her product promotions. More than likely there has been a lot of money in testing the effectiveness of these.

You could go to Motley Crue for financial Niche or Jimmy Cramer's TheStreet.com.

The options are endless with this.

I like to use personal stories in my emails so usually I will keep a look out of the things I encounter, experiences I have abs link it to what I sell.

Another way is to look at all the haopenings around the world. Like the guy who drop the iPhone 6 on live tv or the death of Robbie Williams.

Anything that I think is interesting to my audience will be an email topic.

Create an" idea bank" using google doc and list down every idea you have and you will never run out of topics to write again.
