I've had some success with different things like Blogging, YouTube and Kindle prior to list building but when I finally started to build a list it felt like a true breakthrough...

Email Marketing is a very effective way of making money online, but the truth is you must put into it a lot of effort to build quality list, you can do it only one way by giving away the people really valuable services, informations to make them interact with you. Don`t send paid offers in your each newsletter cos you will burn the list very fast, give them valuable freebies published on your blog. Start interact with your potential clients on forum sites, place your blog`s link in your signature. Help the people, solve their problems and they will opt-in to your list. The worst thing is to go the route of quantity such lists converts very poorly, it`s waste of time and money to pay for keeping such subscribers on your aweber or getresponse account, most of them after once they download something just opt out if you don`t have an idea how to attract them to stay. So the email marketing works excellent if you build your credibility, give the people real value, solve their real problems, promise them they will get more also for free and by continue that you will get strong relationship with them and they will more willingly purchase from you something if you mention about paid offer in occasion of sending them out the freebies.

I've done website building and list building. Both have made money for me but in my opinion list building has longer terms benefits especially after my sites lose ranking power.

Ofcourse you can. It's called email marketing. You basically build up a list and use those guys to sell products! Remember the money is in the list!

The money is still really in the list, here is the simple 5 steps for email marketing. Many big boy in the IM are making big with this simple stupid system

STEP 1: Offer a free gift. The free gift should be VALUABLE.
Doesn’t have to be big, in fact quite the opposite.

Yet, the person should feel like they just got $97 or more in value out of it. It should help solve a problem they have, or, it should give them something they want and will use. Do a little brainstorming and market research. It’s not hard, you just gotta do it.

STEP 2: People will enter their email address to get the free gift.

Here, all you have to do is GIVE IT TO THEM!* Don’t make them jump through a bunch of hoops. Simply give them what you said you would right away. Easy.

You are right. Building a list is the right way to do it. I have created my successful strategy of earning income on Clickbank-Youtube and I vouch for the simple addition to it to build a subscribers list within this strategy, through adding subscribe link in description box/video and by sharing free valuable reports with people in the niche.

yes we can earn good money by sending email, but if you do have a valid email subscriber list. that you have made according to your niche. like if im not interested in buying car then why im going to open any car related email .. so valid list is much more important in this
