I have really enjoyed blogger. I guess that is because it is the only program that I have actually used. ;)
At least I have no complaints about it. =)

Everyone uses wordpress these days, but it's pretty CPU and bandwidth intensive. It can go down in flames under heavy traffic.

Definitely Wordpress (on own web hosting).

The main pro for Wordpress IMO is it's very easy to SEO and setup is a flash with Fantasico in cPanel.

But my favourite is blogger. It is user-friendly and easy to implement Adsense ads.

I tried using Wordpress but it seems that it is not as user-friendly as blogger where I can easily use their HTML to place ad.

WordPress because you can build your whole website around it and your blog posts are your 'fresh content'.

Blogger is easier to implement for beginners (no install, etc)

I am not sure why but it just seems like using WordPress is a smooth ride and Blogger is like driving a clunker, but you can get to the same destination (more or less ).

WordPress offers so many differnet plugins you can really promote it better and customize it the way you want it better as well.

I've tried wordpress and typepad. The one I will only use now is blogger. Even though there are some disadvantages to them blogger is easy to use and posts get favored in Google results.
