Hi, braver. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I've bought those types of things as well.
More than 75% of this e-book covers "White Hat" methods. I kept the "Black Hat" portion to a minimum, mainly because black-hatters tend to have short attention spans...lol.
You can definitely do this without using the "Black Hat" portion. Thanks!

If you have thought of charging for SEO work,this is the guide to get. Even if you think you dont know what you are doing.
This is laid out so you can just follow the steps to do it. i would never have thought I could charge to do SEO for people, but there is no reason now why I cant.

SEO is simple. It's not easy, but it sure is simple.
WTF, Steve?
Let me explain. To be an SEO guru, like Chris obviously is,
means following some SIMPLE rules. Chris knows them. Do you?
Is it EASY? No. Unless YOU know the SIMPLE rules, you'll be
floundering like a fish out of water VERY QUICKLY.
Once you apply the SIMPLE rules, you'll be ahead of 99% of your
competition. EASILY! Whatever your niche...
BTW, this isn't some phoney-baloney fake testimonial. I'm posting

Wow ... this is a real beauty of a guide.
The blackhat chapter made me laugh out loud; nothing held back and no delusions about what it is. At the same time both truthful and hilarious.
The whitehat chapter? It's solid stuff, and the instructional writing is superb and detailed. Nothing left out.
Thanks for a really great guide. I'll be swiping some of your information for a proposal that I will submit to the publicly traded company for which I currently consult. It's that good.

I have read many seo ebooks, but yet to come across an ebook like yours. What other so called "gurus" tell you in a 300 pages ebook you have informed in less than 50 pages. Why are you selling this for such a low price? only your 3 bonuses worth more than you are charging for this package.

| This is the way WSOs should be written---straightforward, concise and sharply thought out. I would say the black hatters would add that their path isn't just a short cut to more careful white hat work, as they often call themselves 'former heavy white hatters who lost their religion.' The summation of the business models for both is nonetheless excellent, and should be of help to anybody from beginners on up. |

@rsmllc: You're right. There's no shortcut, no matter which path you choose to take...you still have to WORK it.
@upnorth: I have several more-than-happy clients, moreso on the super-local level as the book outlines, but a few that I have met online. You will find that you'll have more success actually targeting loca web DESGIN companies than you will the businesses themselves.
As I've come to find out since writing the book, it's sort of like the relationship between the mortgage broker and the realtor. Mortgage brokers want to deal with realtors because the REALTORS are the ones dealing with the cllient first.
When you decide to sell your home, you don't say, "Gee, I'm selling my house, I'd better find a mortgage broker."
Instead, you say, "Gee, I'd better find a realtor."
Well, most small business owners don't open up shop and say, "Gee, I need some SEO." Rather, first they think, "Boy, I'd better get a website."
Some web design firms choose to to their SEO in-house and some contract it out. With the ones that contract it out, you've got a golden opportunity. With the ones who do their SEO in-house, you might find that they would PREFER to outsource it.
So network with local web design firms. That's my advice.
