hi,

I thought as it is very important to grow your opt-in list, and the fact that i have noticed quite a few of you seasoned Pip members have your own designed opt in subscriber page to build your newsletter subscribtion numbers. That I would build a new opt-in page and i was wondering if people could post there opt in pages here so we could all get a look at them.

The more we see the more we learn.

This is my new one http://www.moneyhomebiz.com/subscribe123.html

Have a look and tell me what you think.....I have just started using it and have had signups.

Cool. Thank you for sharing that with us guys. It looks great. No offense Jeff, but I really like the one from niclyn. Is this part of the 30 days training as well ? I mean, is this something you create from the PIPS Help and attach to your main website ? Is it working like a Pop-up on your Main website or the Plug in Profit sales page. Or do you advertise it separately ? I guess not, as I don't see any domain name and I would'nt see the purpose of advertising this page out of its context.
One more piece of your spider's web Jeff...

Hi,

Well done guys. I have one of the largest ezines on the net today and I use just my website as well as submit my ezine to every directory you can find. I probably need to build one and I could even get more. Tell us Suzanne, Jeff how you use it so everyone here can see. Is it a pop-up? etc.....

Take care

No offense taken Jean. I like Lyn's better than mine too except I get 35-40 news subscribers a day with mine so I don't want to change it.

Jeff C., I do mine as an exit pop-up and that is good advice on submitting it to every directory you can find. That is something I have not done in a long time. Do you still have over 70,000 subscribers to yours? That is an outlandish number.

Hi Jeff,

Its now over 82,000......I think a big reason is the age old philosophy I learned a long time ago that you keep working something that is working for you and I was very much on building a list when I first started with PIPS. I also have added over 200 more articles, etc for my issues so when someone has gone through the 400 days they are not sitting in a "holding pattern" so to speak or just forgotten until I send out a mass mailing.

Remember folks....if you have written articles you can add additional days to your getresponse account...

Take care

Every time I listen to one of you, I get more work!

As far as the pop-after, keep it or not? Some say do, some say not.
You say potateoooo, I say pothotooo....

I....am....going....insane!

Hey, that reminds me.

I don't suffer from insanity...I enjoy every minute of it!

That's my post for the day!

Jeff Casmer motivated Jeff Schuman today. I started online with Stone Evans in Sept. 2002 and set a goal to build a large list. By July of 2003 my mailing list was over 125,000 people. This was in the days when you could buy 10,000 single opt-in leads and import them 1,000 at a time into your autoresponder.

Allens Says was dropping the Warrior autoresponder and after searching I found a company who had people with mailing lists of over 1 million people. I spoke with the guy until 3 a.m. in the morning. liked him, and I signed up transferred my whole list of 125,000 and took off with my family to Mexico for vacation.

When I came back the company had been shut down and I had lost my mailing list and my domain name due to spam. The autoresponder was mailing as many as 100 times the same message over and over everyday. Of course being the genius I was I did not have this backed up because I was in a hurry to go on vacation. I lost my mailing list of 125,000 people and my domain name and PIPS website, so I started over.

Since then I have always went to double opt-in and just kind of casually built my mailing list. Not anymore. I am going after a big list. If Jeff Casmer can do it so can I and so can you! Thanks for the motivation Jeff!

jeff cashmer how does one get to 82000 opt ins are they double opt ins?

that is an absolutley amazing number i wish i had a quarter of that....but ive only been doing this for a 3 months now...im changing my focus to list building now.....

im going to set myself a target of 10,000 by the end of the year....i know its not much in your standards but its heaps when you only have a couple of hundred so far...

jeff can you give any new starting out net marketers any advice on the best things to do to get signups..

Good question Jean-Francois, about the page builder being part of the 30 days, as I still have no idea how to build a page like that, and I really need to learn how! I think I have asked the question before, but that's one of the many things on my to-do list that I still haven't done!

Also, good looking opt-in pages you guys, and thank you Jeff for the suggestion to add articles after your 400-days!

Hi Guys,

Jeff...thank you very much. Glad I was able to help....I just stayed with it each and every day. For example, this past week according to my records I had 232 new subscribers. I remember your story Jeff. Having a good list is a great thing to have while building pages, slow days, holidays, etc.

On the suggestion that I add more days...your very welcome Liane. After the 400 days they dont hear from you again unless you send out a mass mailing. Why lose a subscriber that you worked hard to get?

Lynette, I set a goal to add 10 subscribers per day.....these people could get PIPS now or 1 year from now....not everyone is going to jump on PIPS the first time they see the offer.

Jeff S. I am going to create a testimonial page just like you because it creates a confidence the person has in you and your business when they hear it from others.....

Take care
Jeff Casmer

Hi,

I just put together a new one, with a few more bribes on it:
http://www.homebiz-direct.com/internet-home-business-newsletter3.html

Out of interest I also went into getresponse to see where my signups are coming from.

Over the last month I've had approx 150 people opting in who are still there (I wish I could get 30-40 a day like the two Jeffs ). From these 150 here are my stats in case anyone is interested:

(1) 7% came from the opt-in on my homepage (http://www.homebiz-direct.com)
(2) 34% came from the fly-in ad on the same homepage
(3) 17% came from this page http://www.homebiz-direct.com/internet-home-business-newsletter.html
(4) 22% came from an identical page to the one above but this page was only advertised on traffic swarm and other traffic exchanges
(4) 8% came from my OPFM Empowerism signup page - http://www.homebiz-direct.com/first-month-free.html
(5) 9% came from my PIPS special offer page - http://www.homebiz-direct.com/pips-offer.html
(6) 3% came from some untracked location

I don't buy any leads so all the above came from search engines, links from other sites, adwords or traffic exchanges.

It's easy to track your getresponse signups - just add the following line to your "input type" lines in the form:
<input type="hidden" name="ref" value="XXX">, where XXX is your unique ref.

Cheers,
Suzanne

Thanks,

Just when I was starting to get lazy and not take care of business each and every day, you guys came to my rescue!

Jeff C -- you're a goldmine of information and motivation -- thanks for snapping me out of my funk.

Jeff S -- when one star isn't afraid to acknowledge learning from and being motivated by another star, it's a sure sign that PIPS folks are the best, and this forum is, too!

Thanks to all -- Niclyn for starting the topic, Suzanne (as always) for the technical how-to suggestions, and on, and on.

I've got to get to work. Thanks, guys!

Jeff C..

Speaking of giving back can you give me 5,000 of your subscribers and put them in a mayonaise jar on funk 'n' wagnels' porch by midnight tonight? This will still leave you with 77,000 subscribers plus the 10-20 new ones you are getting everyday!

I just pulled over to type this. I pulled over on I-80 just south of North Platte, Nebraska on my way to Chicago to get the subscribers.

I will give you my #10 ranking for the phrase "small business resources" without the quotation marks. My sites-plus.com is on page
one of Yahoo trailing a few little websites like entreprenuer, the irs, sba, osha. microsoft and others.

Where is your porch?

Hey guys,

You are both veterens in this industry and it feels good to read about your success by taking consistant action day in and day out. Last month i took a trip down to california for my siisters wedding and it was very unexpected. Before the trip my business was at a all time high making a four figure income every month.

But then when i was out in california i couldnt really focus on my business cause what was going on out there so what i did was put it on hold. Now that i am back i have alot of catching up to do cause i am very behind. Lately between working and mainting my everyday life, i have not had the motivation that i once had before i left to california, So these post's have made me feel alot better about getting right back into consistant action, Thanks alot guys!

To your success,

Joe

Hi,

Here are my 4:

1) Find a way to grow your list....by any means..that could be submit to ezine directories, new subscriber page, traffic exchanges, etc.

2) Take good care of your customers: support, encouragement, providing real tools.

3) Work a little on a SEO campaign everyday...whether thats building a page, reading an seo ebook, etc

4) Partipate in forums....5 posts daily....

There are other but you get the idea...
