Google Adsense or Clickbank

I have a membership site and generates revenue of around $200 per week via Clickbank. I receive around 200 visits per day. I'm wondering if it would be more sensible to make my membership area open it to the public and place Google ads to generate revenue through Google Adsense. Which do you think would be more profitable.

Any thoughts on this would be great.

Thanks.

If you have affiliates promoting your membership site, you could potentially lose them. Would not make a lot of sense for any decent affiliate to send you traffic just to help you grow your free members list and make you Adsense money, while (s)he's not seeing any sales.

Depending on the topic of your site, you might want to use a customized Google adsense for search. Basically it works like this:
    1. You select the sites and keywords that contain information related to your membership site.
    2. Create a "custom search engine" in your Adsense account.
    3. Put the custom search engine some place that says "Specialized search on [Topic]"
I get about 25% CTR on those.

You get your clickbank revenue PLUS adsense revenue.

Don't bother with affiliate sites unless your domain has good authority . You won't rank a new site with a bunch of affiliate links, even if they are nofollow.

you are generating artificial traffic with this site. Adsense account can be banned.

Just look about your question in this way

How much do you need to work to get one site that will generate $200/week from CB?
How much do you need to get AdSense on your site?

To get a site with 200 visitors/day that generate you $200/week is hard to do job!
You know that, I know that, everyone know that!
If you are able to get $200 or $800 from CB monthly, just think positive, if I can make $800/month, how much I can make just if I do some research and maybe I would be able to not just double my profit, even sky is not limit
Think about that man, if you are able to make $200/weekly you are able then to make $1,000/weekly, all you need is to find your way how to do that, make a plan and then realize that...

AdSense, now again, we all know how hard sometimes, or most of the times is to get a site from where you are going to be able to generate some money as affiliate, it is hard we know that...
Now, you think to just drop all that potential with affiliate earnings, so you can start with AdSense?
Think about this not even twice, think 10 times buddy... For real, think about this before you do anything..
How much time would you need to get $800/month with AdSense, would you be approved, at the end, you say you have 200 lets say unique visits every day, which is 1,400/week and 5,600/month, how much you can make from AdSense?

I believe that a niche blog can make $10-$20 per thousand visitors using Google AdSense. Therefore, with 5000 visits a day, this can be from $1,500 up to $3,000 a month.

But this is from 5,000 visits/day, you are on 5,600/month, so your potential earnings from AdSense would be from $50 up to $100/$110 - for month!

Of course we can not predict how much we can earn with AdSense, sometimes small numbers of visits get big number in $'s, but mostly as we all know, big visits numbers means big $'s numbers.

This is just my opinion, and again, if you are able to make close to $1,000 just from CB, think about what you can do in a year from now, or two...
For me AdSense was always like gambling, with affiliates you know what you can get if you know how to do some things and thats that.
I really hope you stay with CB.
        Wish you all the best...

You won't make any decent money with adsense with a 200 visits per day. You might get to $100 per month if you are lucky and have a high paying niche. Stick to clickbank and try to increase your traffic. You will get good returns.
