Sorry , if i'm posting in a wrong thread.

But i have a new domain that i have registered and i would like to know that whether it would be better if i host it as a website and say that i have put it for sale.

And i have hosted another website and got some results and im NOT ADVERTISING the site but want to know whether the results are somewhat good or not, and i'm not going to mention the name of the website to prevent my thread getting removed. Im attaching the snapshot of the results that i got.

http://s2.postimg.org/zcxargbix/scre..._index_php.png
I did not do much to advertise the site and want to know if hosting a website with the sale page will get me better results with pr ratings.

Without knowing the domain name it is impossible to know s it could be a killer term that simply has been held for years or it could be ruw0t8wy4t8ohgviw7yrh.biz, if you want to know then namepros.com do appraisals

The domain i'm trying to sell is cruvia.com

I have already parked it with Sedo, tried cutting down the price , now i'm thinking of making it into a website and then try and work some traffic into it and then put a for sale sign. Want to know if it will work so should i just stick with sedo and wait for some time>

When selling a domain name it would be helpful to post the name.

Well it was registered last month in Feb, it has no page rank that I can see and when you go to the domain it transfers to different URLs and one of those URLs has a virus.

I can see a brand being built with the domain BUT you will have to find that person that is looking for something of the sort.

Thank you for checking it out,
I heard that if you build a site and put a for sale sign and create a nice logo of the site name , you have more chance of getting traffic and thus selling it quicker.
              Is it right?

Currently I have parked it with sedo, that's t you are being redirected to that page with those URLs.
I have put it in auction in godaddy, listed it on sedo and flippa.
Is there by any chance I can make the process of selling it quicker?
              Thank you!

Ask yourself does that make sense, if it does then do it. If you have the time you can do it that way but if you don't have traffic coming to that site how would anyone know it's up for sale! If you build a site around the domain, build targeted traffic, SEO and PPC you may get an offer but you have to get the traffic first.

                  Yes, i get it now.
Its better to put it up for sale in few sites and have to wait.

                  Thanks.

To me the domain name "Cruvia.com" looks brandable... Try listing them to the BrandBucket, BrandRoot, Namerific. A brandable name can fetch you money easily if the right buyer wants it..may take months too. If I am not sure what to build with a domain, I would like to sell it. Don't waste time and money on hosting it unless you know what it can be used for and have passive income from it...

    Thanks,
    Sky

Build a website and sell it later. Cruvia looks brandable to me.

As skypreet said, BrandBucket is probably an excellent option for this domain. Aside from the three mentioned, use DomainNameSales.com, Sedo, GoDaddy, Afternic to reach as many potential buyers as possible.

Brandable domains are a little like the lottery. You'll just have to wait until hopefully someone comes along to buy your domain for a couple of thousand.

One of the problems of putting it up for sale at BrandBucket, BrandRoot, Namerific is that you will have to use a dedicated server and you could not advertise your name elsewhere - these sites are only good for Brandable domains that have got good chances of selling - yours sounds brandable too but it's hard to be certain that will have many potential buyers. However it's a chance that you might want to take and try.

Your Domain Is Brandable But... As Per Market Trends...
Buyers Are Looking For Keywords Rich Domains....

It will be hard to find a potential buyer for any domain

A waste of money to hosted it into website. Just park it with sedo or other domain parking company.

If you submit domain at brand bucket you have to wait 5-6 weeks until your domain get approved by them. but it worth of time because your right audience already there.

  • Hi adi4u4882

You should build a site and sell it later.

I have put up the domain Cruvia.com in several sites including GoDaddy, Sedo and Namerific and few more.

It took more than 6 months for Namerific to accept my domain but now they have accepted it an have started to design a logo for it.

Now i just have to wait till the logo is completed and my domain is put for sale.

And thank you for all your help, i will keep this thread updated about the sale.

have you tried flippa? but in flippa you need to sell ideas, you need to show them what are the things you can do with the domain.

If I Google search for "cruvia.com", google show me "truvia.com" and I don´t see your domain on page 1. Whois say´s you have created your domain in Feb. 2015. To be honest I don´t think someone will buy your domain. The most fatalic error (that most people do) is, refferring their domain to a landing Page, this is Google index killer no.1 !

For the next time (just as a brotherly tip): Keep your page up and try to still be on Google page 1 (SEO is important) this will definetly increase the value of your domain. Or you could go to flippa and sale the entire webprojekt.

Your domain can be priced from $0 to 999999999999

The price is in the eyes of buyers.....

But as for the liquidity, I will say it has 0 value, whether you agree with me or not...

If it were lll.com or llll.com then it has the liquidity attribute....

It is better to use the domain name with the plan of creating a website and developing it for profit.....

That was the exact reason for me to purchase this domain, to develop a website for it. But, due to few reasons the project got cancelled. So, when i'm buying a domain next time, i will take your advice.

You can directly auction your domain on this forum or any other forum where you are most active . You may get some good bid amount on your auctioned domain.
