How to increase domain value?

Age increases the value of your domain, with or without a website.

Development is the best method of increasing value of any domain.

To increase without website .. 1 rule short domain say 1,2,3 character ,or dictionary word ..or something like bobo todo lollo way to remember brandable and short with age factor increases the cost.

And for with website create it as traffic generating or revenue generating domain of any name will increase its price.

You can't increase the value of a domain without developing it if the name is not good enough to begin with.

However, if you can develop a site on the domain and make it rank by using SEO, then depending on how much revenue your site generates, then the value of your domain will be something like 12x monthly earnings and a lot more if the site has a big potential.

Value comes from a lot of different things, the main thing will be how good is your selling skills.

Another way to increase domain value will be, traffiic, backlinks, alexa, age, page rank, short domain names, earnings (cash parking). People buy domains for different reasons so you really have to find those people that are looking for your domains and market to them.

This is pretty much that exact same as the above!

With adding contents on your domain it will increase the domain authority and the page authority for your domain which is very important in increasing its value, so without development only with the age it will not worth IMO

Age alone DOES NOT increase the value of a domain, if you hold a domain for 5 years it does not become anymore valuable unless you actually do something with it and build a site and give it worthy backlinks and trafiic.

The only reason this myth started was back in the day most aged domains were inherently valuable for their type in traffic.

I'd say one man's trash is other man's treasure. Domains are such type of things you cannot evaluate with their properties owned.

Domains are like girls - some are beautiful, some are popular, some are not. And there are some great ones yet not discovered.

They cost exactly that much that you want to pay for them. I recall having a visitor once, who wanted an available .com with 5 letters in name. I offered him lkrfs.com or smthng like that and that guy was disappointed, though I gave him exactly what he wanted - an available .com with 5 letters in the name. By the way, this magnificent name is yet available )

Therefore, domains gain value only when somebody has an idea how to use them. A brand to build upon them. A community to gather around that website. A business to launch.

Yes, I understand that premium 3-4 digit names and reserved names and all other kinds of special names exist. But we are talking here about names anyone can register to do something with them. And here is the point:

Barebone domains cost nothing, regardless of their age. If they are brandable or have some work done on them - website built, traffic driven to, popularity gained - then they begin being valuable.

While domain rest on your account without any action - it costs nothing

Without creating website Domain value can be increased by its age and its name. It can be brand name .
Should not use special characters and numbers.
