Discussion on domain flipping at flippa and the new tlds.

I am still using flippa without success for listing and selling my unused domains.
Recently, the results I have had, have been appalling. In one case, I listed a bunch of old, aged, PR domains, that I had acquired through taking over web related companies, best offer I got was $10 (below the cost of even listing it on flippa).... now thats shocking.

Right now, I bet I could buy a domain for $10k, list it on flippa for $20 and I wouldnt get a single bid. And right now, I have a dozen odd domains at flippa on my "catalog", all listed with allowing offers over $1.... and never a single bit of interest.

Something that I have noticed, is that some domains where in the past, I had fought tooth and nail to try to negotiate a reasonable price for from different people, I have now since been able to snap them up the ones I was still interested at just the rego fee, as they were all left to expire.

I am just wondering, how others are fairing.

So here are some of my questions:
Since the floodgates have opened up with all these other extensions, has your exisiting domain portfolio essentially lost value?
Could these new extensions be why I have found so many former domains, (that I couldnt negotiate a price for), be left to expire?
Has the new TLD's had a significant impact on your domain buying or selling strategies?
Are others still getting good results from flippa?
Is anyone getting results from the flippa domain catalog feature?

Where else to try besides flippa? Some of my domains I admit are worthless, (brought for clients that changed their mind), but there are a few gems.

I personally just want to dump the ones that I am no longer interested in and focus on building up sites on the ones I am passionate about.

You will need a buyers list of potential domain buyers, which really helps when you put a domain up for sell.

Make your auctions on Flippa good, this means type up a great description and include everything your domain can be used for.

Domaining isn't hard but it's not easy either, it takes time and a lot of work to build relationships, trust and not to mention finding domains that people want to purchase.

You're asking a lot of questions about the new TLDs when I hope you know that .COM is still KING. These new TLDs will only make you money if you have a great name, know how to market it, or it's making some kind of parking cash.

All you have to do is go to Flippa and you can see people are still making money selling domains. If it's a good domain name that you're selling then people will come and they will bid or purchase if it's something they can use or resell.

Besides Flippa there is SEDO, Godaddy Auctions, Afternic, FreeMarket and money others you can try.

i have also listed my domain on flippa but no bidders, only getting viewers, i think Flippa is making it fake for normal list or cheap list 9$, you will get bidders once you pay more than 100$.
