Can anyone recommend a good up-to-date flipping websites course?
I've been looking at selling some websites on Flippa, but it would be helpful to know the process.

There is no need to buy any flipping course.

The process is simple (you said you already have the website):

Write down in a word file things like that:

    1) 30-50 words as an introduction about your website. What is about.
    2) Next, make a list (bullet points) what is contain within this website. Like over 50 articles, social media accounts, premium theme, seo optimized articles, short domain etc..
    3) Tell them how you monetize the website and about your traffic.
    4) Tell them about your expanses related to the website (hosting, articles etc..).
    5) Reason for selling your website
    6) Tell them that you transfer the website and domain in their accounts for FREE (if you can of course).
    7) Payment methods you accept.
    8) If you put the Buy it Now button tell them your bonus. Like 10 free articles, 1 year free hosting etc...

Go to Flippa or other marketplace you want to sell your website.
Choose a catchy headline (Important) like: Superb Travel Site / 3K Unique / Passive income / Premium Domain.

Choose if you want to have a No-Reserve auction or put your reserve price.
Verify the traffic and revenue if you have google analytic or adsense.

Next copy and paste the headline and content from the word file to the description box in Flippa.

Next pay the fees for the listing and verify that you are owner the website by uploading an html file in the root folder of your website.

Choose your niche, duration of the auction. That's it

    Small Tips:

Many sellers that have nice websites with traffic and revenue choose the no-reserve auction. This means that you attract a lot more bids and views. BUT If you have a crappy website it may sold for 1$ with no-reserve. So be careful with this thing.

For me its a good thing also to put a Buy It Now button in the last 4 days of my auction.
Those who buy my website in the Buy It Now price i give it to them many bonus like free articles, new logo design, email marketing integration, i offer them 30-60 days sypport and more.

Remember: Never Never lie in your description related to your website.
I've sold many websites and I have 100% positive feedback because I'm transparent with my clients.

If you have questions, let me know

Good and very detailed process explained. I think now you do not need to buy any course after this post.

      Hi Gino,
Not sure how to contact you but would be interested in hearing more. Do you want to send me a message and we can start from there as I'm not sure what your WSO name is. Thanks

I wrote an ebook on this subject, I can provide you with a copy for free. Great quick DIY cheat sheet there speedakias! I can vouch for the advice there, it's absolutely correct. I also see how though, often people will want or even need more in depth information. Especially if you are in a situation where you need to sell a website for a value you perceive, but maybe haven't kept up on things with it, or have the things website buyers are looking for.

I dont know if this will help but for me, the only thing that is puzzling about flipping websites is the process of transferring of website to the new owner. Luckily i came across an article by Flippa, a detailed step-by-step guide on how to transfer website (with pictures and all). If you want the link, i be glad and gracious to pass it. Just pm me

Its soooo easy to transfer a website from one server to another.
You only need one plugin. Nothing else.

If you have a good host, they can help you. It's not a complicated process but it might be for a newbie especially if you want it done right so you don't lose your link structure, shares or traffic channels!

Thanks! Im interested in making a wordpress site around a niche idea using you tube videos as the main content, is there a plug in that does this but I want it automated- i.e. it updates the videos every 24 hours etc without me manually doing it... as I would have sold it!

That is good advice in post number 2 but seems like a lot of work. I like to just sell domains. It is much easier and hassle free.
