I can't get myself into AdSense - I just hate the PPC model if I'm able to get decent conversions with CPA. The one thing that I seem to see a lot of people mention with AdSense is what you just said - once you have repeating traffic going to them you make money from them daily without even thinking about it.

I'm working on setting my Freebie-Nation.com site back up maybe tomorrow (SWAMPED with article orders from TheNerds.net and Date.com today) but heres a couple videos I use to drive traffic:

Thanks for the great insight Michael...Regarding CPA and articles - I really like your concept and think it has great potential! Great domain too...

Hows this for a CPA suggestion...Perhaps go for an offer that wont easily expire...
Lets take something that remains constant -- For example -- Car insurance.

There are several companies who are looking for insurance leads and will pay $10-15 per lead. Thus, every time you get somebody to submit a free insurance quote - you make almost 6-7 times more than you would doing a simple email submit (1.25-1.50).

ALSO, if your chosen company cancels their offer, there will always be another company to replace them with an identical offer. That way you wouldn't have any "dead" articles floating around.

A good article might be one thats like "I Just Saved 475% on my Insurance!" Then talk about how shopping around saved you something around $97,000 per month...lol

I have been testing some CPA offers Michael and I discovered something -- I posted an offer in the "Free" section of Craigslist -- I got about 40 hits (From San Francisco) Remember that for when you get your site off the ground!

REGARDING ADSENSE========

Last year I was a new Adsense publisher and had built an income of about $x,xxx per month off of my site. I was on top of the world! I couldn't believe that I was set...I didn't have to worry about work after college ever again...UNTIL

I was click bombed--Google instantly deleted my account (and about $3,000 that I had generated for that month). The money - gone...The ads -- gone. When I tried to appeal, they never even responded. I wrote the "BBB" and got a lame, generic response.

Sooooooo....What Im trying to get at is this---
Adsense is the best program out there for CPC.

Also I hate to discourage Adsense entirely -- There are some people who make A LOT of money from Adsense...I wish you guys luck with it and BE CAREFUL =D


CPA/Affiliate marketing and IM Services are the way to go =) Anything that lets you share the power! CPA typically gives you a human manager to talk with!

I knew I was onto something and I think you just added the little tweak it needed!

There usually are some great insurance offers but I'm not seeing many to write home about online right now - Highest I'm seeing is $8.

I'm seeing some niche patterns in CPA networks though - a couple examples being entertainment (NetFlix / Blockbuster / eMusic / Colombia House) and finance (Debt Consolidation / Credit Repair / Credit cards) - both pretty well paying niches. (I'd bring up ringtones but I think thats more saturated then both of these niches combined)

I started thinking if you build a small niche site using the method I mentioned originally you should be able to use articles to drive traffic.

haha We're on to something! If we keep tweaking each other strategies we'll have a hell of a plan.
