Haha, pwebbiz, thats beautiful! Being able to say that you're self employed is sooo great when you're flirting with a girl! Its also a lot of fun during class introductions -- I go to a fairly small college so every semester we introduce one another to the class...When my turn comes around, I just say "Hey guys, my name is Ryan. Im a Psychology major and I run my own ecommerce web design business". This is great for impressing your teachers and classmates -- and theres always going to be somebody who wants to talk to you more after class! Give it a try =)
Take care guys! Glad to see that there are a few of us 'fellow college students'!
Nathan - I agree, when you are doing IM work it can be super draining! Especially if you're approaching information overload (which can be fatal!). However, working an hourly job has it's difficulties too...When I was working an hourly job awhile ago, I found it to be mindless, but emotionally draining! I always felt like a zombie when I went to work as a server, two years ago. At least with IM I begin to feel challenged and driven to succeed...So, for me, I had to leave the 'emotionally draining' job behind! Once I sold my first website for a 4 figure amount...I was pretty happy with my decision to quit "traditional student work", lol
