This is my first visit to this forum. I would be surprised if I am the only one with my dilemma. I have looked at a lot of programs, plans, schemes, etc, all promising to be money-makers. I have purchased or enrolled in some of these, and there is my problem. Looking candidly, this sounds stupid, but I was attracted to new offers frequently, sometimes buying in. The result is that I have a number of "started projects". There is enough money involved that I am reluctant to just trash some of these, but the 36 hours in a day is not enough for me to do them justice.

What I am looking for is help deciding which are the best to pursue, which to take the loss and move on. You have successful marketing careers. You tried more than one opportunity before finding your place. How do I decide?

This is a question that calls for 100 answers from 100 people, but I need some help. What do you think?

I am pretty much in the same boat as yours, but just wanted to say that I am convinced that we can make it work...In factin my case I HAVE to make it work.
so here what am doing:
1- am emptying my mail box of ALL useless ( but attractive offers) I received in the last year or so...
2- putting in a separate file what I am keeping.
3- I have products, if u dont look for affiliate programs and chose 1 or 2
4- no website yet, still on it
5- putting in links where ever I can, forums etc..
6- bought some YAHOO PPC (30$) see where that gets me

Hi Guys, very much in the same boat as you. I have a successful niche in the online horseracing tips business but wanted to expand an entered the Internet Marketing field.

Where to start, the first thing I did was join a membership site of someone who taught all aspects of online marketing - in videop format for easy learning, and covered all the main marketing strategies needed to get going in Internet Marketing.

I dumped everything else, because it was getting too confusing, I unsubscribed from all the lists and focused on one person.

Simplification and order is the only way forward, we all know this business works but if you have a scattergun approach to learning, it gets too much.

I first learnt how to put pu a 1 page website and upload it to my domain, understand the basics before you try to become an expert, I hope we can talk again

I thought I was the only one in this dilema. I have too much on my plate. My challenge is to stay focus.
So what I do is I make a weekly plan with all the businesses I have(4 affiliate, and one IM service). And I stay away from any new offer.

What bothers me is I do not have enough time for all 5. I thought about dumping 1 or 2 affiliates for increase focus. But it's hard to let go as I invested a lot and I have achieved some success. Nevertheless, to get to the next level I need some laser focus.

Staying focused must be the hardest thing for a lot of people. I to am clearing out the things that I have been spending to must time on that are not taking me to where I need to be. My goal this whole year has been to learn to stay focused but to be honest I am not there yet.
