Hi everyone, my name is Hans from Northamptonshire (Scottish and originally from Tranent, Near Edinburgh). The reason for the unique name: Mother was from Berlin, father from Kilmarnock... and believe it or not... I was born in Cyprus. You could say I'm a German Jock with a small helping of Cypriot blood

I have my own construction company and have been involved with I.M now for around 11 years. I'm currently developing another business focusing around my true passion; Internet & Social Media Marketing for small business: Google places integration, Wordpress installation, autoresponders, mobile marketing using QR codes etc (I find this truly fascinating as it has the potential to make any small business stand out from the crowd and it will be huge very soon in the UK).

I don't like paying for conventional offline advertising as some of these methods are dated, too expensive and no longer work. Internet technology is changing real fast and with more people now owning Iphones, Android mobile phones etc, they're now using these devices to carry out 'Local Search', book a restaurant table, order a pizza and even do research about any specific company.

It is changing fast and I just love learning about it.

If I can be of assistance to anyone in this group, just ask and I'll be more than happy to advise and help. Maybe if my advice does help, you could give me some testimonials. Good opportunity for building my new business and good for you to get advice free of charge without being scammed.

I know what it was like when I first started in Internet marketing... banging my head of the wall and simply getting nowhere fast, getting stuck at even the simplest task and being afraid to ask for help because the question sounded really dumb.

I'm Dave, from Bristol, and I too seem to have bought everything and done very little, apart from developing a few websites. I've been a software developer in the finance sector for more than 20 years but had to give up full-time work due to ill health. I've been playing with websites since 2006 but in the last 12 months started to get a bit more serious.

Joining the Warrior forum was, I believe, one of the best things I could have done; it's a fantastic resource. I't's taken a while to found out about groups and as soon as I did I found and joined the UK Group.

What I would like to be able to do here is ask if certain products have been tried successfully in the UK or if anyone is willing to reveal what has worked for them in order to achieve some regular income.
If something starts working for me I'll gladly return the favour.
Oh yes, I have some experience with creating sites using a proper CMS ie Drupal and the aspiring CMS, WordPress, if anyone needs help (or indeed would like a site put together!)

I walked out of well paid corporate life just over 6 years ago.
I decided I wanted to earn my living doing things I loved and NOT
having to travel all over to do it.

I earned my stripes as a consultant sales/training/management strategist.
My last client was paying me between £3000 and £4000 A WEEK but I still
walked away. Set myself up online and never looked back. I am doing a little
online consulting work for some previous clients but mostly focus on my own
little online empire. It employs 4 of us and we all make a nice living.

I rarely get the chance to mingle with other online warriors so was happy to spot this group.

I just realised that this is pretty well a dead group.....what a shame.

Listen, I turned over around $250,000 last year all online and all just selling my own info products in a quite specific and competitive niche...(So I know a thing or two..but not everything).

I'm dabbling with one or two IM products of my own based on what I've learned in the last 6 years and am very happy to help/share/discuss or whatever you want.

In an effort to reactivate the group....if you PM me or just reply here, I'm willing to skype you..individually or we could conference and just introduce ourselves and see where the conversation goes.

It may turn out to be futile as many of these attempts at mastermind groups do...but like I said I'm willing to give it a go.

I'll wait and see if anyone responds. I paid some big money for mentoring when I started and it helped me enormously....so why not give it a go?....It'll cost nothing will it?

I'm Kev based in Yorkshire and I've been running a web design business in various forms for over 10 years.

I know my round web design, HTML, CSS, php, MySql & all the other techie bits and pieces but I found that to be different in the marketplace you have to offer something unique. I read loads of different books but it wasn't until I came across Ben Hunt's stuff, particularly 'Convert' that all my design skills fell into place. He covers the whole concept of designing a website for a niche market and how to do it well. This made me realise that there was a different way of building sites beyond making them look pretty and function well. They had to be built to make money and every element had to be optimised for this!

So after reading the book I stumbled across the Warrior Forums and thought instead of building killer websites for other people I should build them for myself. Of course I have my business website but I also am getting into Niche markets now and have a couple I am quite hopeful about. The difficulty is finding time to run my agency, earn cash & still have the energy to do my own sites! That probably sounds familiar to a few of you though!

So if you have any technical web design questions on HTML etc or on general web design feel free to give me a shout. Or if any of the Northern England members want to get together I'd be up for that. I recon it might be the motivation I need to push on and keep on growing the niche side of my business.
