Another way to get customers is to make a short video explaining what you will be doing. This will help all your agents but more importantly gets your brain around exactly what you will be offering.

Part of the offline marketing business is about educating your customers.
Most customers have been fed absolute lies so it is a good idea to position yourself to help them.
Your First Meeting
When we visit a customer for the first time we very rarely talk about our product on the first meeting. We mainly ask questions about their business , best products, any other advertising.
This all goes to making up a profile and also some of the things we can market around.
So for example one customer who provides prefabricated sheds got a bunch of Whirly Birds (Exhaust Fans) so we helped put together a promotion online and offline.
Long Term Relationship
This customer will be ours for years so there is no rush! Its important to know what their business is about. Quite often we only meet with our customers once and then everything else is done via skype and email.
By the end of the meeting we must have two things finalized.
1. That we are their new webmaster and will do everything for their online marketing.
2. A general over view of what we will be doing plus prices.
Modules for online marketing
We create modules for all our products. It is important to let offline customers know exactly how much everything costs and what it includes.
For example our base product is either to transfer their site to our host and convert to wordpress or establish a 5 page website using wordpress. Everything has to be on our hosting so our base price as
we get the hosting no exceptions
On to that we add our modules, Google places, packages of posts 10,20,30 a month, online presentations, directory listings etc.
So once you have all this prepared it is a simple process to sign up a customer for 6 months to a years work.
We also make sure they understand we cannot guarantee anything however we do everything to help them.
So the question for discussion here is do you have a plan and systems in place to get your clients and service them? What are they?
