its definitely a good suggestion. however, i think the issue might not be keeping everyone posted. my sense that is interest in getting together has faded somewhat, as evidenced by the turnout at the last couple of meet-ups.

think we may have to brainstorm a bit to get things going again. so could everyone suggest what would interest them and get them to a meet-up. guest speakers? specific topics that are of current interest? joint/combined projects? the floor's open, no suggestion is a bad one. let's hear what you guys (and gals) want, can??

I believe joint projects (that are scalable to include new comers) are more sustainable and when you're working at something with goals, it's easier to keep the momentum going.

I also suggest that meeting need to be physical. Online meeting ie. MSN or chat room is a good alternative to keep projects and collaboration going.

Any gurus here with good projects to kickstart? Of course, the projects should be mutually beneficial to all parties involved.

William: Agree that meetings are better when they're physical face2face ones, exactly what I have in mind. As for your shout out to gurus with good projects, I'm waiting with bated breath but I suspect we may have to take our own initiative.
