I don't actually have that player yet... but Josh's transparent player is pretty sweet. I like it.

Pat, when you broadcast your event live are you broadcasting publicly or privately?

I absolutely love www.stickam.com for live broadcasting.

In fact though I do not have a tricaster I was able to broadcast from 4 different camera sources and my desktop using the cheap webcam max software as a switcher and 3 cameras hooked into the computer with usb and one on firewire.

Pretty cool to think what you can do these days on the cheap.

A tricaster would definitely be a fun toy though

Josh, We're going to broadcast it publicly, there will be a link shared later this week, i'll post it here for everyone. I've not tried Stickam we will be using www.ustream.tv , I may test them both to see which is better.

We used an expensive media server last year and thought we'd try Ustream this year for cost and end user experience. (the media server was windows based and had a ton of issues with Macs and all browsers other than IE)

The Tricaster is a blast, I love using it.

Lots of familiar names here!

I have a suggestion. Most of the people who are serious about video production as a business will probably find their way here eventually. Why don't we try to find a way to set up a simple and permanent directory of Warriors who provide any services connected with creating video.

I'm convinced that many marketers on the WF want or need video, but the difficulty of finding the right video maker for the job causes them to abandon the search. If the search was easy, I think there would be much more business to go around. Maybe enough to keep all of us busy.

We should probably set up a few categories. For example, those folks who ONLY use Camtasia (or similar software) to make their "videos" should probably be in a separate category.

Anyone have any idea where we could put this directory that would make it easy to find?
