Oh, yeah, that does make sense that they would speak to the market in the way that they feel comfortable. And in fact, I find it kind of amusing from Frank Kern b/c he's authentically like that, imo. I think some of the Kern wanna-be's lay it on a little thick and it gets tiresome. Now, John Reese, he's never struck me as a super-macho. He's much more "buttoned-down" and I can relate to that and again, I guess b/c it's authentic.
I think that the women guru's are mainly lone rangers. If they get help, it seems they reach out to their male counterparts rather than other females but I can't figure out why.
I think women are well-represented in the IM group as far as numbers go. Maybe not as many as men but certainly enough to make a difference. They're just a quiet bunch. But, Why????? From looking at the male gurus, they all work together and partner up on projects. Women don't. I'm thinking of Rosalind Gardner, Audrey Kerwood, etc.
