My website, how can I improve? *Comic Included*

Hello warriors,

I'm new here at WF, but not new to the game.

I setup a site last year that turns quotes, stories or lessons into comics. The content is either business/entrepreneurship related or inspirational/motivational. The site is targeted at entrepreneurs, business people, and self-starters. (People like yourselves actually.)

You can have a look here: www.rationalcomics.com
You might even be interested in some of the content.

Only very recently have I heard of growth hacking. I have read some articles, but I'm still not too sure how to put it into practice yet.

Right now, I really need to build an audience and a fan base for my comics. It's pretty obvious comics are a content marketing strategy and the monetisation will come later.

So please, tell me how do you think I can build an audience and fan base as fast as possible with growth hacking?

Thank you so much,
Joshua Sim

P.S. Here is a sample comic for you:

I think your idea is great, comic and quotes in one. It's like an infographic and it's worth sharing.

Have more of them and share them on social sites including pinterest and stumbleupon.

Have you checked out despair.com. They became popular when they popularized their "demotivational quotes." Then people started sharing their work.

Thanks for the feedback maemusa! Thanks for the suggestions too.

Yeah, I guess it's like an infographic. Although you say it's worth sharing, I don't see that happening that much on the site.

I have stumbleupon sharing links. And actually, almost all my traffic seems to be coming from stumble upon. I have some technical issues with the pinterest sharing though.

Yes, I have seen the demotivational posters and quotes before. It's funny. It would be good to know how exactly they popularised it though.

    Really nice! a different approach.

You can use guest post and news media for fast audience building.

      Aye, thanks mate.

I definitely want to pull off guest posting. It seems simple enough. But news media seems tough to get into. News agencies seem to not want to talk to me.
