Does it make sense to use Groupon to promote my business?

Hello everyone, I have a website with tariff plan pricing system. There are 3 different tariff plans (9$, 13$ and 25$). Users pay for every month they use my online software.
I'm thinking about using Groupon to make a promotion, but I didn't find a pricing system on their website.
I do hope to hear some advices from you, may be someone used Groupon for promotion and can tell me is there any sense to use it or not.
I also have discount system if users pay for 6month/1year/2years right away.

    Groupon can be good for subscription models where you offer a heavy discount to get a user signed up then make the money over the rest of the life

    It sounds complicated. I wouldn't attempt if you can't clearly spell out what it is that you are selling here.

    What software? Is this something that the masses need? If not don't bother.

    You would groupon only 1 plan say the $25 for $9.00 or something

      Nope. It's specialized software for the certain niche.

      Well, that's an idea for the future. "Premium tariff plan for Basic price". I think I can try it in few monthes to stimulate sales.
