Definition

The first time I tried to look for a definition for this word on Quora, I couldn't find one, because there were tens of suggested definitions by experts and growth hackers, many of them are known and work for big companies like Facebook, Uber, and Airbnb. Here are a few definitions that I liked and that make more sens.

HTML Code:
A growth hacker is a hacker whose objective is to grow the number of users for a specific product. While lots of people consider user growth to be a marketing function, this assumes that there's only one way to get users (namely, marketing). But this isn't true. In fact, more and more over the last few years we've seen new products grow from zero to millions of users with little to no marketing at all.
There are lots of non-marketing decisions that affect user growth. Building viral product features is the most obvious, but there are many others (I'll cover these in a future post). As a result, it doesn't make sense to place growth hacking within a particular department like marketing or engineering. Instead, it ends up being a cross-functional role.

A great share and awesome, irreplaceable tools! I’m using most of them, ‘cause it’s an optimal choice on today's market. But I also have a few exceptions. Qeryz instead of Qualaroo and Picreel instead of Bounce Exchange - just saving my money.

I'm just finding out growth hacking and it is something else that I need to research and implement. From reading about some of the options, I need to become active on twitter . Trying to do all the suggestion is foolish, so if you had to choose one or two to use what would be your recommendations? Currently I have an ebook and a corresponding website.
