Growth Hack Launching Giveaways

If you have a good product or service, you just need to get it out there. So launch a giveaway. Giveaway something related to your business. If your product is good it will convert. The key to launching a successful giveaway lies in the ability to promote it. Works every time if you know what you are doing. Currently rafflecopter is the best app to launch with since it can condition people to do the most things before entering which is the key!

Why this works:
  1. Giving away something closely or exactly related to your business so it reaches your target audience.
  2. Only people entering would be interested in what you offer.
  3. There is a huge market out there. The average Giveaway I've seen promoted correctly grows hundreds of subscribers, fans and followers literally overnight. Average successful giveaway can grow 700 facebook fans, 400 Twitter followers and 600 subscribers in 2 days to 2 weeks.
  4. Once you have them they can see your posts on facebook, twitter or wherever they were conditioned to follow you. If you conditioned them to subscribe to your email list then you can email them.
  5. Giveaways can go pretty viral.
How this works:
  1. Launch a giveaway and promote it efficiently: don't just post it to your Facebook thinking it's gonna spread like crazy.
  2. Before anyone can enter, make them do something easy for you: Like your fan page, Follow your Twitter, Join your mailing list.
  3. The key to making it work is consistency. You will grow your list and fans, how long can you keep it up with a reasonable budget?
This is actually very simple and common sense marketing and it can be done very cheaply for the amount of exposure and engagement you will be getting. People love free-stuff but they also can convert to customers if you know how to market your brand to your newly gained audience.

Giveaway Ideas:
  1. Giveaway some baseball tickets if you are a sports ticket broker.
  2. Giveaway a product or service you offer.
  3. Gift cards giveaways are awesome but should be closely related to your niche unless your product or service is just that awesome.
Who this works great for:
  1. Small to medium sized businesses with a good competitive product or service looking for more exposure.
  2. List-growers who know how to target people running giveaways related to their niche.
Who this is doesn't work so great for:
  1. Internet marketers wanting to giveaway free-training (can work but not effective)
  2. Companies lacking good branding, competitive prices and presentation.
There is absolutely nothing better than this for gaining mass exposure in a matter of days that I have seen besides targeted traffic from search engines, but they don't come with social engagement.
