Video Essence Plugin/Theme

Update.

Installed on another domain running on a server with php 5.4 and successfully curated and posted content.

Few bugs. I was using Safari on a MAC. will test later with PC, Firefox and Chrome to see if the problems are browser related.

Part of the posting system allows you to add both twitter and G+ relevant topics.
Twitter searches revealed no results. Tried repeatedly with various topics/keywords. G+ search provided good results. Related videos searches OK.

Can create posts for more than one video at once but became problematic when trying to add the ROI campaigns to each video. Recommend sticking with one video at a time.

If you want to add ROI campaign/ overlay to video etc you've got to go through the whole step by step sequence again. Can't just add on the fly. Pain.

The theme is pretty sucky.

Traffic Essence is the upsell and on the surface looks good. You can automate post updates and ping to WP, Tumblr and Blogger sites that you control.

Couldn't get this to work properly.

Set up the various apps, followed the documentation to the letter, wasted about 5 hours going over all the settings, disconnecting - reconnecting, uninstalling - re-installing.

Kept getting errors when trying to add my various blogs to the system.

It recognised that I had blogs but when trying to add them to traffic essence I got repeated "WHOOPS....something didn't go right there" messages.

Again will test with PC and firefox and see if that was the problem.

It's only lucky that I had the time to spare on this one because it has been a royal PIA thus far.

Haven't lodged any support tickets in relation to issues yet...thought I'd let them get over the launch..but we'll see.

It is disappointing when usually most good things work pretty seamlessly and trouble free.

Although I'm not super technical I have installed numerous plugins on multiple like 200 WP installs and have used the various APIs in different scenarios and it just shouldn't be this hard or laborious to get something functioning like the way the sales videos show.

Will let you guys know after I've tested a few other things.

Not to sidetrack but I after being somewhat disappointed with Video Essence I purchased P1 Video magnet. It is much better in my opinion at creating video centric curated websites. It is worth taking a look at.

I just installed it and so far the only problem I have is that on the home page the videos are too wide -- each video covers the entire width of the site so I sent a support ticket in to find out how to fix.

When I try to install the plugin or the Video Essence theme, I am getting syntax error messages. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

At first glance the Local theme had a powered by Video Essence link that you'd have to dive into the code to remove.

Ok if you are techhy but for many it would just provide BL to the sales page.

Yes the authority results etc appear good but you can't copy and paste from the post. You's have to copy the dynamically created content.

Not sure whether big G would see the *whole* content or just the minimal content shown inside the post. You'd have to add a bit to there if you wanted to boost rankings...surely??.

Unfortunately you're dealing with Precious and poor support and refund issues are a couple of the reasons why he has been banned from here at least three times. Many of us avoid everything we see with his name attached to it.

I bought Video Essence (VE) and the first OTO Traffic Essence (TE) for a total of $108.00 about a week ago.

I did a VE scam search and no scam reviews appeared.

The basic presentation was done by Sketch Pro and Video Mixer presentator, and since I had Sketch Pro with reasonable effectiveness, although I had to guess some things out, I thought that VE could be a good product. And I bought it.

Since I have bought other products from JvZoo product processor and have had similar results as ClickBank: some good products, some crap, it reasured me that it was ok to buy.

Once I had to request a refund from a JvZoo vendor, and was refunded without problems.
Although, JvZoo has some kinky refund policy.

Anyway, I bought VE and have been trying to figure it out for a week.

First, the download problem: JvZoo has a product download link and the seller has another one. My PC had problems trying to identify which was the correct one. Had a few usernames and passwords. Had to do some cache deleting.

I am using Google Chrome.

If you see the VE setup video in the salesletter that's the training you get. Nothing more indepth. And a pdf format of the same.

Because I know that things could go wrong, I didn't risk testing with my already created WP blogs. Specially changing my good themes. And I am not technie, if something would go wrong, I would go nuts.

I created a subdomain within my existing master domain to test this program.

With a few clicks updated my HostGator cPanel to 5.4 php. today I sent them a ticket since I don't know if I have the MCrypt extension, the other thing needed for the VE theme and plugin to function properly.

I have had to create and delete a few times blogs created with this product, since outcome didn't outcome as the instructions say it would come out.

I was thinking that it could be something in my pc, browser. I thought that it was my fault. But after reading the posts here, I will probably have to ask for a refund, because this product was supposed to make my online life easier, not worse.

Yesterday, in another WF thread I defended VE, but today, reading here, I think that I might have been wrong.

Obizboomer experiences surely makes one wonder about the investment (or could it be waste) made in this product.

One could possibly get a refund, specially if the product was bought through paypal, since refunds are made by the seller and not by JvZoo. And I bought it with a CC and not through PP.

A side note:

Did you notice that with JvZoo your affiliate commissions can be held for up to 90 days!? With ClickBank the maximum, once you meet initial qualifications, could be a month. And JvZoo have 30 day money back guarantee, and CB has 60 days.

Back to our issue:

I have been having the same problems that have been posted before in this thread. And Precious Ng apparently isn't so "precious".

Probably, we are working with another shiny object with its magical one or three push button to complete success online.

I will keep testing this product until a few days before refunds can be requested. I hope that it will do what it says it does. I am more interested in those results than on getting a refund. It should be more profitable!
