Is GetSubscribers worth it?

Hey guys.

I am thinking of investing in GetSubscribers to build a list in weight loss. Has anybody had any experience with them. is it worth the investment?

Thanks in advance

I was just reading a review of it. It does seem interesting, not sure I understand it completely though.

When they say that you're purchasing "leads" does it mean actual subscribers to your list? If so, technically it seems like a good deal providing you have good content and promote good products, etc.

Here's a question: I wonder if you could have these point to CPA offers? For example, I was just looking at some CPA stuff today where they're paying about $15 per lead for term life insurance. So if you bought 200 leads at 45 cents each and got $15 for each of them you'd make a nice little profit.

I doubt it, though since it's tied into getresponse and the idea is that you're sending them to getresponse - i.e., your list. But if there were a way you could add them to your list AND have them do the CPA thing... now that would be cool.

Yes, this is how my mind works.

Anyway, in theory... if it does what it says it should be a good deal I would think. I mean they say on average you make a dollar a month for each person on your list, right? So you make the initial investment of $89.95 (basic pack) and get 200 subscribers, in theory you've increased your income by $200 per month. Give or take.

But IDK enough about it that I'm ready to run out there and buy it. I wouldn't mind hearing some unbiased feedback from someone who has.

I do know for sure that those leads ARE added to your list in getresponse, where you could hit them with CPA offers. I'm just not completely sure are they properly qualified leads or what GetSubscribers process is to get them.

Getsubscriber leads are Getresponse unsubscribers (from other peoples's lists in the chosen category) that are presented with offers on the unsubscribe page that they can 'check' to receive further information on. If they choose your offer then they get subscribed to your list.
It's very similar to the co-registration concept.

This concept is fine if you don't have a front-end funnel (which they would obviously bypass) and you just want them in your autoresponder.

I have found the flow of leads from Getsubscribers to be more of a drip than a flow but admittedly, I haven't used them for a while now.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about getting subscribers who are unsubscribing from another list. I guess it could work - people unsubscribe for many reasons and if you're on your game, in theory, you could keep them happy and on your list.

Lord knows I've done more than my share of unsubscribing from lists. But then... I have never unsubscribed and then turned around and clicked on another offer - even though I think I've seen it. So maybe someone who does is a valuable part of your list? Idk.

I may end up trying it at some point just to see how it does.

It won't actually matter if your subscribers have just left someone else's email list to join yours. It happens all the time on an entirely ethical basis and it can be quite effective. It's just a matter of Getresponse maximizing the traffic they're getting.

Sadly, from what i have heard from others using GetSubscribers, their service is both slow and depending on your market/niche they may not be as targeted as you would like.

Also, don't they charge something like 50 cents to a dollar per subscriber? If you're going to experiment with traffic sources you might as well dump 50 bucks into banner ads or solos. That way you'll definitely have targeted leads who are definitely interested in your stuff.
