You'll never get anything in a formal educational establishment like you can get here for free.

Most marketing courses are aimed at B2C and the online resources change all the time so any course that was created would be out of date before it was printed.

I've taken offline marketing courses and been seriously disappointed and already known way more from my experience actually doing things online.

Just get serious about what your business model is and work it like there's no tomorrow and as long as you keep moving forward - you'll get good results.

The SBI (Site Build It) program is also offered at various accredited universities around the states.

I agree that experience is a good teacher and there is a lot to be learned on-line, but some people really need the assistance of an instructor. Plus, on-line education is getting better and better all the time.

I recently investigated the Univ. of S.F. course offering. I guess it's o.k. if you're already a corporate employee and if your employer pays for it to upgrade your skills.

Didn't see much relevance to the in-the-trenches type of internet marketing.

YES, here in Toronto. My wife had to take a course and I got a text book from it. However there is NOTHING like what you get here.

Rasmussen College offers various degrees in Internet Marketing. I have my associates degree from there. I have learned a lot of B2B, B2C type marketing, but the best knowledge is taken action and getting involved right here.

Well, I think it is coming under e-business module which is being offered as a part of a degree program by some UK universities. However, I am not sure whether there is a course specially for SEO. Hope it will be there in future as it is the growing field...

By the time a University can come out with a Internet Marketing degree course, i bet most of the information that they provide already obsolete.

Internet or Google change too fast for them to update with their course notes.

I have taken the Site Sell Course offered at The Citadel, Military College of SC and have successfully built my site using the instruction and tools provided by Site Sell.

I found the course fascinating and am able to work on my own site and build it just like I want. There are several options offered in ways to Monetize and a number of easy tools to use to accomplish that.

The Course is offered at The Citadel as both a Graduate level or Undergraduate level course and is offered on-line. As a user of the Site Sell product, I do know that the course is available at other Colleges and Universities around the U S and Canada.

Doing a university course cannot possibly bring you success as as internet marketer - such a course would be designed to suit a very broad range of individuals and would only be able to introduce basic concepts.

The best university is the INTERNET. There are tons of people there trying to make money, people who already made money, ebooks, forums, and so on. You can learn by using internet and learning to use it the right way.

SBI is good if you like reading loads. I used SBI for about a year & then graduated onto other training. I would say - join any program/course where there is real, regular interaction with others (like there is here), but also a program of study, archived training, masterminding - in other words connection with others on many levels.

We all learn in many different ways & some ways of learning work better than others.

I prefer the convenience of being able to tap into my online marketing training any time I want - I've got a growing family, 3 businesses & teach Physics, so I just couldn't fit in having to do an offline course.

This forum is a pretty amazing place, but if you want something that hits on some of the other learning levels (as I've described above), and is up to date, others in this forum have mentioned a couple of other ways to go. There are others too - but I don't want to get my head bitten off for promoting mine [There - I just did!]

It's not a university course, but if you're new and you'd like to learn about product creation, you can go to www.myonlinecoaching.com. It's a video course by Adeel Chowdhry and Bobby Walker. There was previously a fee to join, but now it's free.

I've got a professional diploma in e-business from the university of camden if that's anything lol. Though i took the course about 2 years ago, the difference now and then is remarkable.

One can acquire all the head knowledge in the whole wide world and yet, if one does not diligently and dedicatedly implement any of the proven methods of making a worldly living, one will forever remain among the exponentially growing 'I want To Get Rich With The Internet' crowd.

Start today and acquire one or more 'text book' or 'bible' packages eg. a "Rich Jerk-type" product. These are excellent not only as motivational blueprints, but are themselves tremendously effective as structured educational tools. You wouldn't go through college or university just whiling away your time at the water cooler, will you?

Fragmented knowledge from the many forums in cyberspace is only good after one has mastered the very basics presented in the aforementioned packages. Otherwise, they will serve only to confuse the noober and make him throw in the towel soon.

i have looked at places like full sail univ but i agree with others that hanging out online and readings others advice who have already been successful is the best way to go. i mean for the price of the courses you could of spent all that on outsourcing and done much better imo

I am also looking for a University which can provide a Master in Marketing with Internet Marketing specialization. It is very difficult to find. Off course we can learn most of the stuff here but if you need a job the ask for certificates like master degree, etc.

People say that you can learn everything here. I agree but how many of them are really making a live just with the money they are getting online. I guess that less that 1% :-)

It you need a job get a very good Master degree if you have a degree already. If you want to struggle take months or years to make money online so you do not need it and stay learning from the forum.

His teaching is really Newbie focused as his style is watch me as I do this then that.
