Hi Warriors,

I have bee using OptimizePress Plugin for some time now and am starting to get fed up with the bugs.

Have any of you used OP and now moved on. If so, are you using custom sales pages/squeeze pages or using another product.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Brian

I can understand your situation, and I can relate. While I use optimize member for my membership websites, I have moved onto LeadPages for my capture pages, sales pages, funnels, webinar presentations, etc. It's much smoother, tracks all your stats and conversion rates in one page, and it integrates directly into wordpress for publishing.

I echo what Jake said... I've recently switched to LeadPages as well from OptimizePress. I find it's much faster, takes all of the thinking out of design, and loads much faster.

How do you track using softwares such as voluum and prosper202 when using leadpages? That's what I'm trying to get at..

Hey Brian - I use OP for various things but I don't use it for EVERYTHING I do online.

I'm now transitioning in to having custom html sales pages designed for example.

I like the OP funnel set up and blog - that's what I use it for.

But I like to use a wide range of things, rather then just depend on one piece of software like OP.

Instabuilder 2.0 is coming out in few days or so.

Looks pretty cool and works along the lines of Profit Builder.

Too bad they are discontinuing support for Instabuilder 1.0. I am told 1.0 customers are being offered an upgrade discount, but I have not seen how much that discount is yet.

      Cheers

I think I remember them mentioning they were going to release one final update just before the new release. Probably to make it compliant with new WP, Could also be confusing it with another product tho'.

If the discount ain't good enough, I'll just stick with Profit Builder.

Yeah, one final update, keyword --> final. I will also stick with PB if the upgrade discount is not substantial.

          Cheers

I've found, if you use the OptimizePress plugin on your site, it can conflict with some themes and if you have a lot of other plugins installed on the site, it can conflict with some of them as well. (causing "bugs")

You should always check "Compatibility Check" and "External Plugin Compatibility" in the OptimizePress dashboard. (although not all plugins have been checked for compatibility only the "big" ones with lots of downloads or user submitted conflicts)

Anytime I install OptimizePress, I use the theme (not the plugin) and install it either on a standalone domain or in a web directory.

I haven't experienced any bugs other than the latest one with the optin box issue due to Wordpress 4.1 upgrade.

Another vote for Profit Builder. Something else to consider, unlike other options: you get the Profit Theme as well as the employee so you can use both and my testing using any of the blank themes that you can get will work perfectly fine. For the price the developer version of Profit Builder plus the theme is a steal. So far it's still at $67.

The problem I have with the PB theme is the sub menus don't work in responsive/mobile view and the plugin menus in responsive mode ain't great either.

Hmm... try this: Shoot a Jing video showing what you're doing and then open a ticket and mark the priority. Also, you'll want to setup a user/pw specifically for their support as they will ask once they've reviewed the video. This is the best way I've personally found to get support quickly and get things resolved. When I was having issues with Rapid Mailer, I actually got personal help from the lead developer. It may not be quite as quick as a written ticket, but it really hits to the heart of the matter and gets it solved faster.

That wouldn't help as the PB members area has the same issue.

Point is: do a video so they can see, it'll make troubleshooting much easier for them.
