One thing I would say about Market Samurai - and don't get me wrong, I love it dearly - it is still using numbers from the old Google keyword tool.

After the recent changes, the new tool (beta) is showing figures which are sometimes hugely different to what MS and MNF now report for monthly searches.

I'm still trying to decide what I think about that, but I've definitely found one niche where my fully researched domain purchase turned out to be a complete waste of money after looking at the new figures!

Besides being a great tool, Market Samurai runs on Adobe AIR, hence works on Mac. Just love it.

Tried three tools, the best software would be a combination. I like that a tool allows me to explore keywords like Keyword Blueprint, gives me deep analysis data that Keyword Elite has, displays the domain backlinks in the style competition of Market Samurai.

The best research tool is Keyword Elite 2.0

Market Samurai is a wonderful software. I especially like the modules: SEO competition, Rank tracker, Keyword research.
I like to check my rank everyday. I know most of time, the ranks don't change too much, but I can't help doing it.
Recently I find the rank tracker is not accurate for some of my keywords. Does any one have this experience?

Are you saying that you can paste a url into Market Samurai and it will show you what page on Google it appears for its primary keyword?

the backlink page and backlink domain used by market samurai are based on yahoo explorer. can you truly rely on that? not for me.

For instance, if I want to use MS to find a French niche market, would it work ?

I found this link which may be useful for you. Looks like Market Samurai
can read 41 languages. I would assume French would be one of them.

I also wanted to mention that if you do plan on buying it do a search on
Google for "Market Samurai Bonus" or "Market Samurai Discount" and look
to see who offers the biggest bonus or discount. Someone is going to
get a commission so it might as well be the one who offers you the
most perks.

Does anyone know or has anyone tested how accurate the SEOV data is in Market Samurai?

Been using the software for a while now and find it to be the best software/tool I have ever purchased.

Has anyone had issues with getting MS to work in Windows 7? MS Samurai's support team appear to have given up and don't bother responding anymore.

Hi,

I have used MS during 2010 where I found it to be useful, then I went for full version but now I really have trouble. It still uses the same old way of its settings, I tried to write to the support area but I could not get the right response from them.

What version do you feel is better? I have 0.87.48, it keeps updating at regular intervals. But I really have trouble in getting data for some of the modules.

Any advice on how best it can be used would be appreciate.

Don't let that stop you. Go to the main Market Samurai site. Trust me this is one tool you don't want to be without. I had hoped that TT4 had a trial version, but then I kept hearing about issues with it. That and even though I had TT3, I still go back to MS.

I used to love Market Samurai, but now whenever I try to do Keyword research it stalls out before reaching 100%...is it just me having this prob?

I've had it too, and I wrote support about it. Apparently they're having "intermittent difficulties" and they sent out an email about some servers being down. If you try it at different times during the day it randomly works and doesn't work.

I've had MS for over a year, and I think it's the best software I've got. It's having troubles these last few days, but it's still so worthwhile, and the constant updates at least show you that they're really behind supporting this software.

Market Samurai has been getting very slow lately on my end. Switching from one keyword tab to another keyword tab takes about 15-20 seconds to load. Just imagine having to sift through hundreds of keywords and checking on their Strength of Competition is gonna take hours. It used to be my favourite keyword research tool(i open it every single day) but not anymore.

Market Samurai for me isn't working at all. It's not gathering any keyword data and for some reason it gets stuck at 75%.

It will be nice if someone from the MS team would look into this ASAP.

I love Market Samurai. Only recently have I even gotten to the point where I'm I'm using more than 2 or 3 modules. But even using just 30 to 40% of its functionality MS rocks!

if you get free adwords account you dont need to enter captures and will generate upto 800 keywords

I can't get Market Samurai to work any more at all - it just takes forever for the keyword research and then it didn't even pick up the few keywords available in AdWords.

Any of you got an idea what is going wrong?

I love it because I am a Mac user and hate loading up parallels but as of lately it has been terribly slow for me as well!

I got a trial version, and found that it was slow. I could see that the transition between keyword research and seo competition could be really useful, but I struggled to see what additionally it had over the Google keyword tool. I also found it unuseably slow - would leave it to do its thing, and it would crash and shut itself down.
I have also used Traffic Travis - I have the free version of that at this stage too, and that doesn't do a great deal in terms of keyword research, although its other features such as seo analysis seem pretty good.
I also used SEO Powersuite, that seemed probably the best of the bunch in the free version, and I suspect would be even better paid as you could save everything!

I'm going to have to watch more of the MS videos, as I seem to be missing the point, everyone seems to say that it's great, but I'm just not seeing what it is that actually makes it great?

Market Samurai is a tried and tested program with rapid updates all for a 1 time fee, what other keyword research tool can you say that for it can be slow sometimes but Im sure you have other things to do!
