It's a steal. For a one time payment, it's been a no brainer. Teamed with Wordtracker, it's powerful stuff.

I was fortunate to get Market Samurai for the $69 offer last September during the 30DC. LOVE IT! It's an amazing tool and some of the recent updates make it so much better - ability to select your phrase length on KW searches, allowing for long-tail!; the permutations (related phrases) filter is awesome;the ability to sort by phrase/broad/exact is also very helpful. So much packed into this program. Honestly, I highly recommend it. Also, the 'hanging up' issues that seemed to plague earlier versions, is all but gone now. I haven't had any in probably 2+ months. There have been many updates since last September. Well worth the small investment to get this tool. One warning: I know it's supposed to be a time saver, but I find myself following rabbit trails hunting down long-tails in MS, and well.... time flies when you're having fun. |

I had the trial version 6 months ago, but it didn't have all the features activated at the time. The $67 price is no longer offered, it was the pre-launch price. |

I just discovered MS recently, and I like it. Great software, and most importantly, very simple to use. Franck |

Other than reading the documentation for the program itself to understand what each component is, it's not difficult to use.

Not to get too off-topic but.... Hey Brian..FYI...in case you missed it, that image you attempted to link to isn't working...and I even logged into my twitter account, as I had thought that was the issue w/the image not coming up..My I suggest you upload it to the free image service of imageshack.us or photobucket.com...so we can all view it.. Thanks! As for someone who used the 40-day trial, and doens't have a lot of experience using a lot of IM related software, I can say that the interface is extremely easy to use, as are all the other modules that were open during the trial period. However, once the trial period was over, I wasn't in a financial position to purchase the full version. I'm hoping that changes shortly and that the folks behind MS haven't upgraded to a monthly subscription fee by then... .:-) Ray |

I got Market Smaurai not too long after 30DC, and it seemed to crash a lot. I think Google was very sensitive to it as well. I could keyword stats for a certain amount of time, and then all of sudden all the stats would return 0's. You pretty much can only do but a few keywords at a time, otherwise the program will crash or it will get your ip blacklisted from Google. That was my only annoyance with it. But overall I think it is a really good tool to have.

Market samurai is a fantastic keyword tool and I have tried many, the very first time I got using it was a free trial when it was first made available to the thirty day challenge members it was great then and now its even better as more features keep on coming out for it. Recommended to everyone. |

Highly recommended! It's more than keyword research. It does a lot more than simply providing keywords. I bought it when it was $69. It's now $149, but it's still very worth it. The only "hang up" I've experienced is when I did tons of keyword research on a particular topic. Best to use with the methodology provided by Steve and Tim, the Commission Blueprint folks. 2 thumbs up! |

After reading several recommendations of this software and people raving how they couldn't get by without it, I decided to download the trial and spend some time on it. I have read the 80+ page report that goes with it, and watched all the tutorials (some of them twice). I must be pretty thick headed because I "don't get" much of it. Sure being able to analyze a competitors backlinks and checking the PR of the BL's is cool. The SEO Competition function overall is pretty cool I guess. But my lack of understanding comes when they start assigning values to the the keywords researched. For example: Under the organic function they are giving you total search volume and then SEO traffic and the SEO traffic is almost always around 43% of the total search traffic. What in the world is that, and what should that tell me? What is the significance of the 43%? Secondly they are then taking an Adwords click thru rate (I have no idea where the CTR estimate comes from), multiplying that CTR rate by the total search traffic and they are arriving at an estimate for Adwords traffic for the keyword. Okay whatever... Google can tell me that easily enough. They are never correct, so why would I expect these guys to be? Then they give me this "Adword Value" which is derived by taking the CPC that the top ad position is paying for the click thru on the subject keyword, and multiplying this by the Adwords traffic that the keyword receives and this gives me an "Adwords Value". What the hell is that? What do I do with that? If this Adwords Value really has any significance for evaluating a market, shouldn't the figure also include all the CPC's that all the advertisers in the lower positions are paying also? Just because one advertiser is willing to spend $2 a click for 200 clicks gives the keyword an Adwords Value of $400? What? I could go on, but my head hurts just bringing this post to this point. I don't see any logic in some of the information the software is providing. Seems like some of it is smoke and mirrors to me. But then again... maybe I am just thick headed. |

For me, it was just too slow. More importantly, the database of keywords it derives it's keywords from is not very large. So I tried it and asked for a refund. That was when it was first offered several months ago. I think they still offer a money-back guarantee so maybe you can try the paid version yourself?

Hi, The Market Samurai absolutely delivers what the makers promise: it's a great tool to single out profitable keywords, because it gives lots of info that's useful for the monitization. Apart from that it provides a score of blogs and articles on the subjects you're researching, just with the push of a button. I've been using the Micro Niche Finder for some time now, but this tool is far more distinguished. It can safe you a lot of time in your research and provides you with a treasure of information. Very professional. Yours, samuraily, Ed |

Feeling the love here! ![]() Thanks everyone for the AWESOME feedback! It sounds like there are a lot of "Samurai Warriors" here ![]() Unfortunately, the $69 price has long-since expired... It was a special discount that we offered to customers in our first 30 days - to thank them for everything (their feedback, their support, putting up with the occasional bugs while we released new beta features, and making Market Samurai go viral(!!!) )Quote:
Is it because of low levels of RAM or a slow internet connection? These are the most significant reasons Market Samurai will run slow (because of the nature of the software, it needs to collect and process a lot of data from online sources). If you're still having trouble though, get in touch with support (I can't link yet, but you know where to find it )Quote:
You were one of our original Alpha Testers! ![]() Quote:
I'm expecting the next module is imminent... After that, the 3 remaining modules will be released one-by-one over the next few months. We recently hired some new staff (including one ex-Google engineer) and this has sped up the creation of some of our bigger new features. Quote:
I haven't had a chance to use it myself - but I spent a few minutes looking at his stuff, and he's certainly got some smarts in his systems. I won't lie to you - Market Samurai isn't trying to *be* Speed PPC. Jay has some really unique stuff there - but it's not "us", and we're not going to duplicate it. We've got our own killer PPC features to create - features that people can't get anywhere else - so they're our main priority. There will be a bit of cross-over - the stuff that Speed PPC and Market Samurai both believes are "Must-Have" features - but there are also a lot of unique things too. So there's room for both. Quote:
The key isn't just the number of keywords - it's the relevance of keywords too. Market Samurai was never designed to create long lists of keywords for scatter-gun, spray-and-pray style SEO - instead, it was designed to take a list of highly relevant keywords, filter out the worthless low-traffic low value keywords, filter out the keywords with high traffic and work with the keywords that have a MASSIVE chance of successfully ranking well in Google - and giving you traffic and customers. Every page you put up, every keyword you optimize for, takes time and often money... So focussing on the handful of "winners" makes dollars and sense. ![]() Relevance is also key - because Market Samurai was also designed to build sites with LSI-style silo structures. (So the keywords Market Samurai finds are from the most relevant source available) But the limit of 200 keywords is a limitation... Previously we were plugged into SEO Digger (which generated a great list of relevant, long-tail keywords). But this is closing down. We're experimenting with a replacement solution right now... I don't have anything to report yet. I hope this answers some questions ![]() Brent

I've been following this thread, as well as the threads about Micro Niche Finder, with interest. I'm looking at both Market Samurai and Micro Niche Finder and would value some input. Both seem to have a lot of features, probably more features than I would use or am looking for just now and I don't want to get bogged down. For those of you who have used both products, which would you recommend to find good micro niches to build tangible product websites, i.e. to locate good highly-searched, low-competition keywords on which to build sites promoting tangible affiliate products? I'm also looking for something that offers a brainstorm function, where I don't even have to enter a seed keyword, but it gives me ideas that I may never have thought of. I also do primarily organic search, so PPC data isn't so important, other than it does offer ideas on what people are willing to spend money on for ads. Thanks! Susan |

| As time goes on, that 'coming soon' feature seems less and less likely. Disappointing. I got it in beta for the 30 day challenge, and worked through the bugs along the way, but, sheesh. Time to be fully featured.
