Hi,

I spent some time researching solutions for automatic social bookmarking submission and Social Bookmarks Demon was script with best features.

I paid $169 for it and after all day of testing I found that it's not working like author wrote on sales page.
Inside admin panel there is some kind of report option that can just tell you that your URL is submitted, but can't tell on what sites.
So, I went on each site (listed on sales page of software), checked is my URL there and found that it's posted only on few of them.

After few emails sent with bug report I asked for refund, but no answer.

When I send refund request via Plimus, vendor answered
"full refund can be issued only when software fails to operate after support staff investigation"

But on sales page he wrote:
"Moneyback Guarantee
I'm so proud about Social Bookmarks Demon, that I offer full money back guarantee for 7 days. For example, if Social Bookmarks Demon will build so many backlinks that your servers will not handle premium traffic anymore, just ask for full refund!"


I also found that owner of this site made few fake reviews on squidoo and blogs around, so it's possible that he will answer on this post with some fake account claiming how this software really works.


Also if you check site of similar product Social Bookmarks Submitter, you can see that it has the same design and I think that is the same owner like Social Bookmarks Demon.

I didn't get my product at once, and it said on the after-payment page that "they might call me to confirm my purchase".
I don't want anyone from the states calling me in Norway to confirm a $10 ebook purchase!

Vendor just sent me email how they have terms on sales page - Terms Of Service :: Social Bookmarks Demon
But in the time when I made order they didn't have it.
I have google cache page of sales page without this link.

one of the problems that exist is that social bookmarking is NOT MEANT to be done by YOU!

The whole idea of social bookmarking is OTHERS bookmarking your material. This is how it is designed to work and work well.

Automating this and bookmarking your own stuff is only going to lead to disappointment. I am currently addressing this and looking for a solution. I may have one, but I just dont have the time as I am already working on too many projects which is keeping me from the success I want.

If you try to GAME the social sites without building a presence, and follow the way it is meant to work, you will be constantly finding yourself re-creating your sites and business because you are trying to do something in a way it was not meant to work.

k im glad i read this thread because i saw a review somewhere on squidoo claiming that social bookmarks demon was the top choice. I guess it was just the most profitable for the affiliate who was reviewing it.

The software is useless to me without capthca verification - how many social sites do you think you can auto submit to without capthca verification. Not many I can tell you but nothing was mentioned of this on the sales page of this site nor was it mentioned that you would have to install this software on a server or pay to have it done.

I have the same problem,, this company is a scam, I spend $169 for this program, within 2 days, I requested refund thru email, I never received any reply, I finally received their reply after 30 days and they said becasue this is more than a month, they have denied my refund request. I hope anything who were planning to purchase this program will see this post before purchasing.

When I opened this thread I was initially shocked that somebody thought bookmarking demon was a scam and then I realised that they were referring to a different piece of software. It is disgusting that this scam software could be mistaken for the excellent bookmarking demon.

I thought this thread was in reference to Bookmarking Demon also. I'm not sure which program was out first, but this looks like a potential case of trademark infringement. Hey man, I am sorry for this. There are scammers in every industry and in every place. We have to have an eagle eye on our activites to get out from these things. If you could have a kind of escrow payments or something like that, that would be more good for you, even to the person who is working for you...... However, It is US$169 a big money man....

I have no problems with Social Bookmarking Demon whatsoever and in fact it's a great piece of software. The developer has been updating the software every now and then. As a matter of fact, I am using it in the background while I am making this post.

It's bookmarking 160 sites for me at the moment.

It's better if you make a comment about a product, be sure you've really purchased it before commenting whether its good or not.

Before you spend all that money, no it does not do capchas, and socialbot just upgraded to many sites. since they both require you to register, and do capchas money wins.

It is very cruel what this person do. The way the websites are structured, salesletter, ebooks and the advertisement it makes the whole company looks real and legit. The only thing I find is there are no Terms of use of the software or any kind of legal documentation on the website.

The worst part is how they created a dud software. The user interface is user friendly and it looks like a perfect competitive software against other software around.

The OH NO! part is when it only works on the 6 default bookmarking sites. But when you start putting more scuttle sites it NEVER did work!!

No matter how many times you push the button nothing happens and that's including the User Settings.

If you have bought the software and it asks you to upload it into your webhost or server please make sure DELETE it straight away.

You might not know that software is spying your every account. I also like to mention even the best anti-virus will not find any viruses from the software. To me, it seems to control or probably spy your server or your account.

Also the nightmare starts when you try to get your money back.
Even the website says 100% Money Back Guarantee they will not reply back.

Even if you use claims in paypal to get your money, you will not win because in Paypal's User Agreement: the claims process only applies to the delivery of goods received. But does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received.

PM if you want to talk more about this as I have all the evidence. It would be good if I can find a programmer to analyse the software.
