Click bank and Commission Junction, which one is best for New affiliate marketers?

Hi, there are thousands of affiliate programes on the net, but click bank and commission junction are the popular affiliate marketing sites. What I want to know is...which one is the best one for new affiliate marketers.

    Clickbank is the best to get into as there is really no barrier to entry. CJ does require a website if I remember correctly.

    Clickbank is for information products like eBook. Commission Junction, Linkshare and Amazon associate is more to a store. Which one the best, that depends.
    Clickbank pros:
    - No website required.
    - Automatic approval for all merchants. No waiting for manual application.
    - High payout to affiliate

    Drawback of Clickbank:
    - High refund rate. You made $100 today, don't expect you'll get the check soon. Your sales could be refunded.
    - Commission theft. Especially when your promote internet marketing related product, since visitors aware that it is your aff link.

    As for cj
    - You can use famous brands like Canon, Toshiba, Nikon to drive highly targeted traffic from SE.

    the negative side:
    - manual approval. sometimes your application is rejected.
    - low commission rate.

    Hi,

    When I first started affiliate marketing about 5 years ago, I tried CJ and Clickbank. I found CJ the easier of the two for a new marketer. You do need a website. And clickbank seemed to have a higher refund rate.

      Why not join both. CJ is good for selling physical products which might easier to do depending on your market. Clickbank is great for Digital products and is easy to sign up for. It wouldn't hurt to have an account for both.
