aweber no longer works in Firefox Browser

It looks like aweber has released new update and locks up my Firefox Browser. Anyone else have this issue?

    Mine seems to be working no problem. They gone to a newer more mobile looking design but everything still works for me. I am on my desktop.

    My suggestion to you would be to contact Aweber and let them know about your problem, if not just wait it out. They may be unaware or may be going through site maintenance. I personally haven't had any problems.

    It locks up the firefox browser as soon as you change the list in the top pick list.

      Don't let anyone else here try and make you think you're crazy ... I have the exact same problem. Firefox freezing up when I try to change the list from the top dropdown menu. It started doing that a couple of weeks ago.

          Local browsers issues can be a real problem.

          IE is usually the main culprit.

          I have a number of web based software apps. I sell, and this can be an ongoing problem. And it's a tough one to fix.

          Aweber will probably tell you to use another browser.

      I've been having the exact same problem for many months now. Ever since they made some changes to their interface it has not worked properly in Firefox.

    I use aweber daily with firefox with no problems

    that said my firefox at home has problems now that it never had before - have you considered Firefox is the problem not aweber?

    Don't know why but I can't edit messages in IE today but Chrome is okay.

    What version of Firefox are you using? Do you have any add-ons that could be preventing you from accessing the site? It might be something on your end... my firefox is working well with Aweber today. In the meantime, switch browsers for the Aweber task and get your work in.

      After much indecision I finally gave up of Firefox just before Christmas, and I'd been a faithful user for many years. They were implementing way too many upgrades: some were conflicting with other programs and some meant that add-ons I depended upon no longer worked.

      I switched to Chrome and so far, I'm extremely happy. Operation is fast and smooth, and best of all, no notifications about urgent upgrades that MUST be implemented.

    I have the same problem to, it also made some parts of wordpress editing slower (but only with roboform installed, strange) so I have also made the switch to Chrome.

    I guess no one cares... support told me to disable roboform or use Chrome, well thanks, that fixed it LOL.

    Now I have to use Chrome for switching and then go back to FF. Not too happy with this.

    hey Tom, are you planning on fixing this for people who want to use roboform and Firefox or not?

    So I guess it's confirmed, that Aweber don't work in Firefox if Roboform is installed, since Roboform work on all other sites, it might be Aweber's site that have the problem. I can't believe it's been 8 months without a fix.

    (It's a little easier now, since you no longer need to restart Firefox when disabling Roboform.)

      knector, if you're having issues please contact our Customer Solutions team so they can look at your specific setup and trouble shoot. A forum isn't a good place to do that.

      I can can assure you that we have thousands of customers that access AWeber with Firefox successfully every day. I've also personally tested Firefox w/ Roboform and had it work with AWeber. Please contact us so we can look at your specific account and figure out what might be happening.

        Hi Tom,

        Not really sure where else to contact you.

        There is currently a major bug in aweber that you can't copy a message and get it to send to the same multiple lists of before. This is after the latest update in the last few days.

        I spoke to CS and she said that you aweber is aware of it.

        What I am trying to find out, is if this is something that will be fixed and an approimate time-frame.

        As each email goes out to (many) multiple lists, there is no way time-wise that I can check each list every time that I send an email out. Therefore, I am unable at present to send out broadcasts with aweber.

        This is the response that I got:

        Stacy K.: There is not a projected time other than ASAP.
        Me: So, no-one in the company knows even approximately how long it will take?
        Stacy K.: They do not.
        Me: Are you serious?!
        That worries me.
        Stacy K.: I apologize for making you worry. Unfortunately, that is the best time frame I can provide

        If I knew whether it was an hour, day, week, month or year, this would help me make decisions, but at present I (and all other customers) are in the dark.

        Would appreciate if you could let us know of an approximate time-frame.

          I really appreciate your feedback. Our team is aware that the drafts copy function is not retaining previous include/exclude lists which inconveniences customers with a large number of include/exclude lists.

          Per our blog post update, that function is expected to return by the end of the week. (Fri August 28th on or before). As with any development project there are a lot of moving pieces so having something far enough along that you know all of the bottlenecks that might affect a delivery time can be difficult. We don't like to give out guesses. It's also important to recognize that there are a lot of folks in the company and not everyone is always intimately aware of everything that everyone else is working on. Stacy can't possibly speak for the whole company and say that no one knows, a more appropriate response would have been the original one that a project time frame is not being released.

          While some customers have specific business requirements that require dozens or hundreds of lists, frequently those requirements change over time. If you should find yourself needing to condense things together you can export/import subscribers to one master list.
