Instabuilder is a bit more versatile and you have more control over everything. Currently (or if you purchased it during the last launch phase) it is a single one-time payment. It also allows you to export to html which is nice.

LeadPages is a monthly (overpriced by most people's standards) service that hosts all the pages on their servers (unless you download an html copy, which they host the images for). It has good integration with most major autoresponders, though with some of the recent changes with GoToWebinar and GetResponse there have been some bugs in the integration over the past 2 months, but it still works, just not as well.

LeadPages is better if you're looking for speed of implementation and pretty much want to follow point and click pre-designs. It is also good if you're not interested in doing major design modifications, because...well... you can't with their system currently.

Instabuilder is a wordpress plugin, LeadPages is a hosted service.

That should about sum it up, there are other differences, but there are a few more here and there.

Instabuilder 2.0 is AMAZING. Tried quite a few before deciding on this.

Combine it with Call to Action Pro and you can make some great stuff.

  • Instabuilder has pretty weak templates right now. They just released a new template pack, that was well, weak. Nothing inspiring there from a design perspective. Hopefully they will hire some real designers to show what it can do, but currently they are just ok.

I think Profit Builder has better designs then IB2.

That's why I recommended bringing CTA Pro into the mix. It makes for an awesome combination.

Does CTA Pro work with InstaBuilder ? i.e. can I install both on one site and use them together without any conflict?

        Thanks...

I originally bought Instabulider 1.0 and thought it was pretty limited and clunky...but Instabuilder 2.0 is absolutely fantastic for building new squeeze pages or sales pages the fly. In fact it does a lot more with video sale pages, download pages, OTO pages, hypbrid text/video sales pages. What I really like about it is that has fully responsive layouts for mobiles, iPads etc...

It has all the latest styles in templates (like wide screen layouts or narrow) and you can build in new sections including a range of feature boxes, testimonials, columns, tabbed content, add to cart button styles and everything else. It even has split testing options. I've recently got a copy of Profit Builder too which I'm trying out, but if thats no good then I don't care as I've got Instabuilder, I really recommend it even though the pricing is a little steep its worth it.

Not sure when Instabuilder may reopen to the general public, but you might want to take a look at WP Profit Builder.

Please also try "Thrive Content Builder" it is much better than InstaBuilder 2.0
Instabuilder has some bugs with autoresponder optin codes like it dosent process well java based optin codes on the other hand TCB is superb and works like a charm.

There is 1 feature missing in TCB, it dosent have the option for HTML converting.

Bringing an old thread back. I just purchased Instabuilder and can't believe it's a landing page plugin without any call to actions. Call to Action Pro seems to be dead in the water, does anyone have any other recommendations?

CTA Pro appears to be working on version 2.0 (they have a beta version available) so I wouldn't call it dead yet.

It's only available to 1.0 customers in the admin panel.

There's a bit more info in the FB group.

Instabuilder has a dedicated element that allows you to drag it anywhere on the page and insert your custom JavaScript/CSS/HTML code.

Haven't had any experience with Instabuilder, but have had Leadpages for around 8 months now. I predominately use it for split-testing against my own pages that I build from scratch with HTML. So clean and modern Vs more traditional or "ugly" as some may call it.

I think the value of Leadpages depends entirely on how much you intend to use it. I think their price is very reasonable for what they offer and I have no complaints. They've also got a tonne of free training for those that feel they need it. The affiliate program pays well too...

I intend to start utilising it more with my FB campaigns in the near future, just been caught up with other matters.
