Getresponse BLACK LISTED as SPAM,... Again!

It's insane...

Getresponse is getting "black listed" as a spam sender, over and over again. It's listed on the black list of URIBL.com. This is the third time, since I've been checking my email safety scores!

I can't understand how such a big email marketing company would be so reckless about their email reputation.

I don't think it really matters. GR have been in and out of URIBL.com for as long as I can remember but it never seemed to affect my inbox rates. I believe the big guys like gmail, yahoomail etc. don't even reference URIBL.com

But don't you think it's an obvious sign that they have numerour Spam senders, which affects the reputaiton of ALL the other clients?

Remember, Hotmail almost always block GetResponse emails.

That isn't an "obvious sign" at all. In fact, it could easily be unrelated.

One thing that has been an issue for GR and some larger mailers who have been using GR exclusively for the past few years is that ever since they had that DDOS attack last year, they never recovered properly. Across the board all of us have seen insanely high or low numbers (whichever is bad) in these areas with GR:

      1. Open rates
      2. CTR
      3. Bounce rates

Things fluctuate wildly and GR pretends like everything is normal when you confront them on it. That is why many of us are either leaving or already have left.

I no longer recomment GR to anyone.

I report the spam I receive from GR back to GR so as they can weed these creeps out who keep abusing their autoresponder.

LOL What's funny James is everyone told me it was great. I signed up gave it a try and had nothing but issues, they couldn't even get the acxcount working properly.
Bleh I got rid of em within a week

          I wouldn't recommend them either.

Then they had the guts to offer me a GR t shirt.

          Best,

Thing is brother, they WERE great. For quite a while. They simply never recovered from the attack properly, either that or skimped out on going through the motions to recover from it properly. On the other hand Aweber has stepped up their service significantly in the past 2 months, so everything is working great with them. They just have some rules/limitations that many users aren't fond of.

Restrictions on imports, restrictions on transactional addresses and catchall addresses being entered, restrictions on lead management, lack of a lead tagging option for proper segmentation, etc...

    Hey James,

Yeah I understand, I never personally had a good experience with them. Others did , which is cool,
But, attack or no , what is happening now is maybe a taste of what I went through

Hum. I was planning on using GR as they make it easy for non-English subscribers/newsletters/messages/etc. Most of the big names do not - it's like the rest of the world doesn't exist for them.

Any email system recommended for other languages?

I've noticed lately that all email that I receive from both Get Response and Aweber are going to my spam folder. Even when I click that it is not spam, the next time that person sends me another email, it goes right back into the spam folder.
