Experts Academy or Mass Conversion?

I've set aside some cash to invest in new training.

I've been very interested in Brendon Burchard's "Experts Academy" for awhile now, but I haven't taken the leap.

Recently I've been investigating Frank Kern's "Mass Conversion." The two courses seem similar with just subtle differences.

Any insight you have into the better bang for the buck would be appreciated!

Thanks!

    Hey Mark,

I think you cannot go wrong with Kern. Mass Control was awesome. The man is a genius, plain and simple.

The reason they appear to be similar is because Kern created Burchard's marketing based on Jeff Walker's original premises. That kind of approach work, but you need a ton of traffic to make it profitable.

Burchard's programs are modeled on Tony Robbins (with consultation from Frank Kern) in that there is always something bigger and better to buy. Pretty much the never-ending product funnel.

There is not a lot new in internet marketing, pretty mcuh tried and true techniques that can work great when applied consistently. Seeing how they market their products is an education all unto its own.

What exactly are you looking for? Are you just trying to create an income source, enhance your current income or what?

I'm looking to sell products and seminars and position myself as the foremost celebrity expert in my niche.

        But SLAES is most important...

        I'm leaning Kern....

Ok, a few of Dan Kennedy's products come to mind here...

Dan Kennedy - Butts in Seats (getting people to attention and convert at your seminars)

          and...

his Living Legend Formula (to become a sought after master at what you do)

And when you say sales, do you mean conversions, preselling customers...i mean I take that very generally so can you be a little more specific about what type of sales you'd like to master?

I only ask because things like direct sales marketing (walking up to a person in real life to pitch them) is far different than VSL's or copywriting (videos and written content that compels people to buy/take action)

      Have you seen either firsthand?

I could be wrong as I don't have either product.
    It depends upon your goals.

Experts Academy if you're branding yourself.

Mass Control if you're serving clients.

Mass Conversion is about building a lot of targeted sales funnels to dominate your niche. Kern shows how he puts them together, provides you a detailed overview of his video sales template, and has a 20-part video course about how to run facebook ads effectively (this is done by his own FB ad manager). He covers different angles for making a pitch and provides templates, etc...

Thanks! Have you used it? Does it work?

Yes, but what works better is Perry Belcher's, Ryan Deiss' and Frank Kern's Funnel Certification Program.

As for Frank's FB ad training via his ad manager, it works for high ticket leads, but not a good ad strategy for lower ticket sales or affiliate promotions on FB.

They are very different products, Frank Kerns product is an introduction to sales funnels. While Experts Academy tries to teaches you things (without going into too much detail) to become an expert in Speaking, Writing, ..., but not so much about selling your services but more positioning. Both are a bit pricey to my opinion to what they actually offer.

I think a couple of things to keep in mind also is whose style do you resonate with more? And really closely related to THAT is, are you the kind of person who really WILL sit through hours and hours (Over 10 hours for sure) of videos?

Like Dan Kennedy (the Godfather of Info marketing at this point) says, only a tiny percentage of buyers ever even TAKE OFF THE SHRINK WRAP, let alone get past the first section or two of ANY Info course- So if you are determined and committed to go through the courses completely, that's the first step-

But then again, whose style do you resonate with? Because you will be looking, and listening, to that one person for a looooong time- Don't underestimate this point- Even Billy Joel got tired of looking at Christie Brinkley (if that were humanly possible...) But on a more positive note, both guys are definite "Info-tainers"- And keep things pretty energetic and enthused-

The other aspect of your question though, really again like others said, is what are you looking for?

Building your brand? Dominating a market? Understanding how to set up and run a speaking/seminar business? Learn how to publish and promote your first book? Or dominate a niche? Or set up killer irresistible sales funnels?

One course covers some of these aspects more thoroughly, and vice versa-

But again, probably the most important aspect to this (and I'm speaking from experience, as most on the forum here can as well)- IS, if you are going to plunk down the $2000-3000 for the courses, are you going to really complete them?

For me, over time, I have found that the giant "THUD" factor, where I get sent hundreds of videos in a course, is unworkable for me- I just don't get through more than a few hours of video- Audios in the car? I'm golden, but audios don't come with either course as far as I know (although you can painstakingly make your own audios I suppose)-

I have found for me, if I really want to go through a 2-5 day course/seminar, I've got to go there live- THEN I am a captive audience with little distraction- But that's just me-

Nothing wrong though with sitting on the couch in your boxers munching on some Fiddle-Faddle and chugging down the Diet Pepsi as you crank out the videos- Actually not a bad idea- Think I'll try it tonight :^)
