ANY good host WILL threaten you, on a shared account, if you abuse the privilege, and that usually becomes apparent when you get traffic.

A shared account is generally a non dedicated system. If you don't know what I am talking about, there is like a 99.9% chance you are on a shared system. Shared systems ALSO tend to be cheap, like less than $60/month.

Thanks for the reply, but i never liked that word "good" and they do not deserve.

These kind of liars could better advertise "only dead sites welcomed not active ones"...

One thing i forgot, i used good discount coupons from them, i noticed only after 3 months of hosting plan, they start acting like this.

My concern not for me only is, 90% of the website owners need revenues to be generated from them and they need good up-time from where they host their websites. Really getting frustration when these kind of creatures threatening once the websites start making some money, first we spend time n money in ranking the website and after that we work hard to get traffic, these happy faces after getting traffic show vampire faces by threatening customers with various complaints, don't they know the same plugins cause issues before in hand and ask us to avoid. but honestly my websites get only more or less 100 page-views comparing to previous dead ones.

Is there any place to complaint against these venoms, like we have with domains.

NO, they ARE OK with traffic! The secret is that you could get a TRILLION hits a day, and they WOULD NEVER CARE! The reason the care is because you are OVER EXTENDING THE RESOURCES!

A system generally leases for upwards of $60/month! In fact, the AVERAGE for a mid range 10Mbps system is about $99/month! That is SIGNIFICANT! WHY!?!?!?!?

Well, say that they have 100 people on that system. Maybe 10 use it fully, as 10%, last I knew, was a realistic percentage. THAT means you can be allowed to use roughly 10% of the system. SO, if you use more than 10% or the CPU, memory, or bandwidth, you get flagged and they will investigate. If it is due to too much traffic, or a bad addition(Which is often due to an addition to software, known as a PLUGIN), etc.... They WILL threaten you! If you do not comply, they WILL cancel you!

WHY will the cancel you? WHY will they be so harsh? Because of the other 9 users actively using the system, and the other 90 that MIGHT!

NOW, based on this, if they sell to 100, they could effectively be paying as little as $0.99/per account or as much as say $9.90 per account, but they have to oversell a bit, or make a profit, just to cover losses. The less they charge, and the more they promise, the more they have to oversell. That could easily make the highest cost closer to $20. They ALSO want to make a profit, and do customer support, which costs. And the more they oversell, the more they have to watch usage! So you can see how a lower price can lead to more threats!

Well, you could stop treating your business like a cheap whore and start investing in an adequate infrastructure to support your traffic.

But if your traffic is coming from spam or other unethical methods, you will probably get "bad" service wherever you go because nobody will want your business.

I thought these cheap hosting whores could make it up since these are less traffic sites as i mentioned with only organic, but what could happen to sites with 1000+ traffic in a day by keeping in mind these a** h** promises so much of bandwidth in GB's.

There are only THREE guys selling VERY cheap hosting!

      1. IDIOTS that don't care! You probably should LEAVE since you will probably end up getting hurt or something.
      2. BIG GUYS wanting to share resources. They WILL care if yu upset THEIR system.
      3. Some person who fancies themselves a host, and actively cares. They will do what they are doing to you.

WHY call them " a** h**" As for the promises, sadly they ALL do it.

You'll learn that nobody who sells hosting for $1/month (or even $3/month or $5/month) is ever going to care about you.

You mean so little to them as a customer that the moment you complain, it is cheaper for them to terminate you than it is to help you.

You should upgrade to a next level. Servers have limits and you should understand that

If you are hosting your websites with a host who promises unlimited resources, then I'm sorry to say that that's just a lie. It's common sense. They oversell heavily expecting that most of the users sharing a server will never use the maximum allocated resources. They sell these expected unused resources to other customers which can lead to server overload.

If you're paying anything less than $20 per month for this host, just upgrade to a vps from either knownhost or tmzvps so you can stop worrying.

In either case you'll pay like $40ish monthly for super solid hosting and not have to worry about server limitations unless you get seriously good traffic, which will entirely depend on your site, plugins etc

I recently had my programmer look at some code on one of my sites and he warned me that one of my shared accounts was limiting me a lot. I had no idea because the sites in question got maybe 50 - 100 hits daily, and I didn't feel that was remotely enough traffic to trigger some throttling, but it was.

You need to invest in quality hosting so the basic foundation for your business isn't a worry for you buddy.

Looks like they're using CloudLinux. The metrics in the sidebar will only show you within a few minutes or recent usage. You want to look for the "CPU and Concurrent Connection Usage" icon, which will show you historical metrics on the resource usage for the account.
