What do you think about Vidlify?

Just found out about Vidlify, it looks like a good product - but my concern is why to build something that's hosted on someone else's domain?

Unless it's possible to create video sites on my own domains - it's kind of limited in terms of building links to it... what do you guys think?

    Just this moment got a jvzoo email promoting it.

    For 16 or $17 at the moment it's an easy buy, but having content hosted by another is an issue.

    But then again, if one is copying pasting YouTube videos to your own site, even if it's your own content, runs a risk of being shut down by YT. That's if one contravenes their T & C

    I reckon the important issue could be if it's not really a 'goer', how much time would one waste...

      Copying and pasting YouTube videos to your own site is against YouTube's t&c? Since when? Embedding YouTube videos on your site is encouraged by google I thought?

          I went ahead and bought it. I had the same troubles... here's their response - it may help you too:

          We have also forwarded your message to our dedicated IT development team who are monitoring all these issues and are trying their best to get all the issues solved.

        @mavericks4u I should clarify, it's an 'if' your YouTube Chanel crosses any t & c they may shut you down. My post wasnt clear enough

      Do a Google search for "php video script". There are a ton that are out there that's either free or paid. I bought one a few years ago (phpsugar, which is now "phpmelody) and here's their demo.

      Not sure what you're looking for, so dig thru t hose Google SERPs I'm sure you'll find what you need.

          A quick look at the source code of that website says that the theme is here at ThemeForest

          Those PHP Codes that you find in the SERPs are not Wordpress... but they're easy to install, and they have a back-end similar to WP's dashboard where you can curate (import) videos from youtube (and other sites I'm guessing) that will automatically populate your site within minutes.

          I'll look around for a WP plugin that can curate videos for you but I'm not sure if they exist.
