PRODUCT REVIEWS

Firstly, again I wonder -- how can there be a major, major launch, and yet no corresponding thread in the Reviews forum?!?

I had a question about this product...
I got an email from someone selling this, and he said it can be used on videos.
Am I'm thinking, I don't see how that's possible.
Also, the sales page says nothing about an option like that.

So... not possible, right?

Just double checking.

PS: Also, does anyone know if it works on craigslist (I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but just checking)

  In the few examples that I have been able to find... the image url always seem s to lead back to the iconlead website.... Not sure I like that!

I believe the images need to be hosted at IconLead. Here is a sample by one of the people that purchased it with the upsell.

I made it with IconLead and posted this to a closed group that I belong to - that's the reason I didn't cloak the link. I was surprised to hear that it was up here...

As soon as I create a virtual tour for that property I will be adding a video icon to that image hopefully later today or tomorrow and people with be able to take the tour off the image.

I bought all in on this including the mastermind group up-sell and I intend to use it to build these for others like me locally as a paid service.

I also expect it to go to a monthly membership thing at some point so the continuity will make me think about promoting it as an affiliate... I don't do that now.

The Images are hosted at iconlead so I don't have to deal with SSL.

Any changes I make to the icon settings like adding something or changing the redirects takes effect immediately and show up as new when the browser at the user's end is refreshed.

I hope that helps but to be honest I hope this thing does NOT "Take Off" like the top three sellers in JVZoo because if it does it'll be another "ME TOO" thing that kills the pattern interrupt that it has going for it at the moment.

  Are you saying it's possible for us to use our own domain to host the images providing we have SSL? What would the URL look like? I know the frontend purchase was allowing only 50 images so how does the creating, hosting and tracking work if the images can be hosted elsewhere? How does/would it remain interactive if it's not hosted at iconlead?
  
  From the videos I have watched it seems like the images may need to be hosted on iconlead. Can you show us an interactive image that is hosted somewhere other than iconlead?

Hi Don,

I'm not the guy to ask much about this... I'm a buyer. I bought the product, I've been playing with it, I love it, and because of that I have a strategy to make money with it.

Images are hosted on IconLead. I sell the service - they host and support it. I also bought into the mastermind and that's where the business training is.

Hope that helps but I don't have any more to offer on it cuzz it's not my creation... just the image was.

No problem, when I initially read your post I thought you might be inferring that hosting images elsewhere may be possible, but now that I have reread it, I guess you were just saying you like the fact that they host the images.

I well know you did not create Iconlead... I saw your user post praising the product in Mark H's forum and that is where I grabbed the link from.

From the looks of things the images must be hosted on iconlead, and that *could* be a disadvantage in the future if the site goes down, becomes latent, or the developers scrap the project.

I think that is a reason why a few are concerned...if they break, our images may break as well.

Understood!

The master plan I gather from what I read is to go into a Leadpages type business model which is brilliant because of the continuity component and that's the reason I bought all in - developer and mastermind.

It's funny (not funny) that I made that post Don because I don't care who buys this thing or not and if I'd have known it was going to turn into the mini firestorm that it did it wouldn't have happened.
