Pinterest clone theme / script?

PRODUCT REVIEWS

Hi guys,

I am projecting to build a website like pinterest for a very specific niche. I am thinking to reach 10k-20k in the first quarter, so I would like to know what do you believe to be the best Theme or Script having in mind the following requirement:

- Fast loading
- Handling a huge amount of I/O requests

I have checked for two or three Software/themes:

- Ipin Pro (Wordpress theme) it sound very good but I don´t know if it will handle easily a huge amount of load (here you can see the demo: iPin Pro | Pinterest Clone WordPress Theme)

- Pintastic (https://pintastic.com/modules) I am a bit afraid of this one because this company has the fame of starting good scripts but don't giving support when issues arise, I have read a lot of reports in multiple forums. Plus can become quite expensive.

Any good suggestion will be more then welcome.

  Hi! I actually have two suggestions if you want to go with a Pin style theme:
  
  1. First,either check out this theme(demo link): Pin = Grid Personal Magazine / Front-end Submission | ThemeForest (No aff.link)
  
  2. The other is (if you use Genesis Framework), Demo: Pin It

I have used some of their scripts on my sites.These scripts are very simple to use. Installation takes about 10 minutes.

  I do own the fivverclone script so i can't beleive the pinterest clone wouldn't do the job

While the software is going to play a role in this, you need to make sure you have a good network infrastructure in place. I recommend going with some type of Cloud hosting that has SSD drives and a lot of RAM/CPU power.
