Youzign Graphics Software

Over 5500 sales thus far....anyone here buy this yet? How do you like it?

I haven't bought it because I've been using Photoshop since 2004, but I'm interested in it for the templates upsell offer, which they say for the one-off price will get you 100 templates per month (no recurring fee).

Anyone try the templates yet and what do you think of the quality and the way the program works in general?

It is a nice web software that is useful to create fast designs.

But those "photoshop replacement" email subjects are.... hype. Of course it does replace some photoshop tasks but it is not a photoshop replacement- specially to work with complex layered designs

I would like to see implemented:

    - a better way to organize created designs
    - someway to see design layers - like photoshop

I hear good things about the creators so I think they will keep updating and making it better. www.canva.com is right there if they don't...

Anyone know of a marketer offering a worthwhile bonus with Youzign? Most of the offers I've seen appear to offer the same pile of PLR which doesn't seem to have much relation to the main product.

I was part of the Beta test group for Youzign. I agree that the full selection of templates helps in creating Facebook covers, Twitter headers and other social media and basic marketing graphics. The lack of design layers does not make this a Photoshop killer. For sophisticated designs, Photoshop and professional designers are your best resources. But for generating quality, usable graphics and ideas/sketches for your professional designers to take to the next level, I think that Youzign is definitely worth the cost (software + templates).

Hi, I got this software some days ago and I must say it works good. the only thing I don't like about it is that they do not have a lot of pictures to choose from and they try to sell me 100 pictures for about $64
    .
You do have an option to upload yours though...

The good part is that it helps with quick creation of images you could use for social media or marketing purposes on the fly without much brain storming and trying to figure out so many functions at the same time.

As for the bonus you asked for? I'll update this post when I find something interesting and worthwhile...

The software is good for the novice graphics person...it's definitely not a photoshop replacement. I've been using photoshop and illustrator since 2005 and they are still currently irreplaceable.

For the person with zero photoshop experience then it can be a good alternative.

I joined for the template club honestly...if they fulfill their promise of 100 new templates a month then I'll be happier with my investment.

      Hey Jasculs ,

Fair point, it might not be a photoshop replacement for everyone, but it has been for me and my team at least for the past 6 months. I have been doing all my banners, business cards and even sales pages on youzign.

Obviously Im a big fan of photoshop too and i do thing there is space for both in anyone's workflow. Right now you can not compare Youzign to Photoshop. Photoshop is 25 years old, Youzign came out two weeks ago. Photoshop caters to artists, Youzign is for people who need things done in a jiffy and on instantly, without having to wait for designers. The major advantage of Youzign is the preset formats (currently 10, planning to add 100 by the end of the year) and templates for those who purchased it.

By the way, at the last count we had 160 templates. We are on good track to fulfill our promise.

Feel free to get back to me here or via support (at) ymbproperties.com if anything,

      Best,

Have had this for a while and would say it is most useful for a non photoshop person.

Although I use photoshop and I have a photoshop/illustrator/3D guru on staff so they are always producing the goods when it comes to graphics but where I've found this tool useful is when I have an idea on the weekend or at night and want to run a A/B test in VWO and I don't want to bother my graphics guy after hours.

You can knock up something pretty quickly to test an idea and then if needed make a better version later.

For quick and easy social profiles it is also good.

How are the graphics templates that they include with...sorry, that you pay extra for? Are they worth the money or can they be easily found elsewhere?

I didn't get the templates and I wouldn't expect you would need them.

It is a bit like all the various video background stuff that came out after Explandio and the others.

Maybe might add something but why not try it without other stuff added and see if you can use it first.

I generally take this approach with most releases of anything because if it is making you money it is no biggie to pay more later for anything extra you might need as an add on.

I don't want to say much here except I was extremely disappointed. Nothing extraordinary plus after upgrading and paying $104 for the initial plus the OTO, I have not seen anything but the original templates which are basic at best. I've sent 2 support tickets with no results yet after a week.

I don't know about everyone else here but I'm seeing a huge amount of HYPE on JVZoo products lately. I'm going to back off for at least a week or more now until I see the reviews.

Sounds like you do not recommend getting the templates. I bought the software and was considering purchasing the templates this week. I guess I will hold on for now.

      hey Mo Goulet,

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Im sorry to hear that you did not hear from us after one week, thats certainly not the experience we like to offer. If you PM me your email I can look up your tickets and get back to you asap, if someone from the team hasn't already done so (we cleared our launch backlog about 5 days into the launch so that's maybe why you experienced some wait).

Regarding the hype, well I wouldn't call Youzign a hyped product.. Its really down-to-earth. I have been working on it for 15 months now and I'll still be working on it in one year or two years time. I do believe it will add tremendous value to the community in the long run.

Feel free to let me know if anything,

IMO, templates are what makes this product worthwhile. As a user of Photoshop for almost 20 years basically the only reason I purchased this software was to use the 1000+ templates we will eventually have access to.

Even if you don't have Photoshop, lots of other graphics tools are available that can basically do what this software does, and many of them can do it for free --> canva dot com immediately comes to mind.

If you google a couple of YMB's other products (Instant FB Presence for example) you will see that the pro version of that product includes 175 templates that allow you to very quickly knockout fairly decent looking FB covers in a minute or two.

Many people are not that artistic or design savvy --> and that's what makes the templates valuable. I do own several of the "presence" products and the reason I have them are for the easy to modify templates.

That said, I purchased Youzign when it was in Beta ($27 total) so I will have access to all future templates that are offered. Right now, the first 100 templates do not make the product that impressive (comparatively speaking), but when all 1300 templates are available I believe this product will be relatively formidable.

    Cheers

They provided 10 templates for people like myself that bought at launch. To be honest, I am not impressed with what I saw there. Would you say the 100 templates provided to the beta testers are of a diverse range and are good quality? I don't have any of their other products so have no idea if their templates look good.

Personally, I am not that impressed with some of templates as quite a few of them seem to be pretty basic --> but your milage may vary. The upsell page gives you a decent idea of what's included, but I would not have been super excited if I had just paid a hundred bucks for the software and the templates...but then again, I have almost 20 years of PS experience.

That said, once I have access to all 1300 templates I am pretty sure I will be happy with my $27 purchase.

I do hope to see more advanced, complex and/or creative templates in the future and I am crossing my fingers that they will deliver as promised.

FWIW, a few months ago this company was promoting as an affiliate for Landing Page Monkey and they offered 30 custom made templates as a bonus. The 30 templates were supposed to be available in just a couple of days but they were never delivered. In the end only 15 of 30 were delivered. They gave me access to one of their products as a replacement so at the end they did try to make it right with me. The excuse they gave was the person tasked to create the templates never provided the finished product to them.

        Cheers
