Are there any good WordPress responsive themes?

Hi guys,

Do you know of any good WordPress responsive themes that do NOT look like some overdone magazine? I need some simple and good WordPress themes that work well with Adsense, and are good for small niche sites that do not get updated often and do not have Facebook, Twitter, and all that other bling.

I like three column themes that do not force me to constantly upload small featured images and do not look like magazines. I wonder where all these themes went. 95% of themes nowadays are either not meant for Adsense, some personal blog theme, or look like some "big time" magazine. Nothing in between.

Something fast loading, simple, responsive, and 3 columns, optimized for Adsense and not glitzy. Easily customizable with good code.

I tried going the theme framework way to build my own themes, but these come with their own issues, and if you're not good in CSS and coding stuff, you are going to be pretty much stuck most of the time just trying to solve problems that arise, or it will be a long time before your theme takes off.

MyThemeShop is an example of the themes I do not want. Too gaudy themes. As I said, nowadays themes are either too gaudy or too minimal. Nothing in between.

These theme makers assume all WordPress users are personal bloggers or have a blog that is updated every single hour and have a Twitter and Facebook group....or some big news site like New York Times, or some big design company showing off their design skills.

Just ridiculous! Nothing catering for a small niche site???

Canvas by woothemes. It comes bare bones and you can set up 1, 2, or 3 sidebars. When viewed on mobile, the sidebar widgets drop bellow the content and the footer widgets drop below that.

Some cause-oriented hackers recently hacked one of my websites. So I researched what they're about and then donated a large sum of money to the entity they hate the most.

The next time they hack one of my websites I'm going to donate DOUBLE.
