Webinar Fusion Pro Review?

Any got it yet? I'm trying to understand if this is simply another piece of software based on Google Hangouts like WebinarJam.

Edit: it is based on Google Hangouts. Just found this on the JV site...

"Webinar Fusion PRO is a one of a kind webinar platform service that uses Google Hangouts newest technology to bring a hassle free experience no matter where you are or what device you're on. We make it simple to set up your webinars and even easier for your viewers to attend."

I didn't buy it, but I did send an email to their support and received an answer in about 5 hours and that's not so bad as they were in the middle of the product launch. They provided a friendly and detailed answer as well. So I was happy with their customer support.

I was asking about their automated webinar capability and they offer everything that all the other automated software systems offer except that the video needs to be in flv format or a youtube link.

Hopefully someone will reply that has used Webinar Fusion Pro.

I have been looking to start hosting webinars so I decided to see what this one has to offer. I was really impressed with the description on the sales page (and Dwayne's videos) but in all honesty was very leery about what the actually product would be like (and what crazy parade of upsells there would be).

Yes, there ARE a handful of upsells (how could there NOT be given the price).

#1) A more advanced version of the software - allows you to do everything completely automatically. ie you can create and schedule webinars ahead of time and you don't even need to attend them if you don't want to. $77 - NOTE: Pretty sure this also includes unlimited video hosting (would be fantastic if so) - I grabbed this one - just to make sure I was getting full functionality of WF

#2) I believe the second main upsell was done-for-you products. A bunch of decent looking PLR products. Presumably can be sold easily using the WF program. $97 - I didn't bother with this one.

#3) Coaching club - $37/month - get more access to the creators of the program (I didn't bother with this one either)

        ---

I feel like I am missing one of the upsells - but that gives you the main idea anyway.

Logging into the members area I was VERY impressed with how it was laid out, and all the various tutorial videos available for helping you get started. So far I have NO feeling of this being a rushed launch. I am happy about that!

One thing I found strange was that you can only upload FLV videos. I would have thought MP4 would make more sense.

Just so you know - while I'm sure you can use Google Hangouts as part of this, the impression I have is that it doesn't rely on Google Hangouts. I need to spend more time with it to be sure.

Anyway - hope this helps! Will likely add more once I've spent more time with it.

          Thanks Bentley 74,

Please let us know a bit more as you spend time with it, the thing that is stopping me right now is the FLV thing, I'm with you on that I thought they could do mp4 as well, and I see in your post that it looks like I would need to buy the up sell in order to use automated webinars.

          Thanks,

The FLV thing is a deal breaker for me. It's 2015...who uses FLV for video anymore?

I have sent in an email to their help desk to ask some questions (including info about the FLV requirement). Will post an update once I hear back. I'm sure if enough people ask/rant about it, they will add MP4 as a file option.

        Hi Bentley,
thanks for the review ,i'm looking after WF too ,is possible to buy the upsell (the ine you got) after in the member area?
In the sale video somehow they talk about this functionality ie to schedule webinar in advance and even to not be there , strange this come as an upsell....but maybe i miss some.
thanks for your feedback ,the FLV only video format keep me at shore for the moment .
Waiting for your post ,thanks again.

          Hi Moreno,

          That's a good question.

Because I DID sign up for it, I ended up with access to an "Enterprise Plus" members area - so naturally they aren't trying to selling me on the upgrade.

But I do see the opportunity to still upgrade to the the coaching club so my hunch is yes. I don't even recall them saying it was the only time we'd see the offer. Was basically just an upsell.

Worst case scenario, I'm sure you could email support and request the upgrade if it looks like something you'll need/want.

Yes, if you buy the front end product (the live webinar features) then you can upgrade later from your dashboard at any time in the future for the discounted launch price

Also I will mention that yes the FLV only restriction is gone now and also you can upload any video on youtube for use in your recorded webinars with just the URL and a click of a button as well

Not having an option for MP4 is a deal breaker for me too.

        FLV is old tech.

I should mention though that there are two ways to upload videos for use in record webinar, one is to copy paste a youtube link into our back office and the other one is to upload video but it must be in FLV format Please let us know if you have any questions, we are here to help

Absolutely! It seems to have all the usual GoToWebinar features

Funny - I just checked my email and they FINALLY responded to me! lol

Here is their response to my questions (#1 and #2 are the actual questions I asked them):

                  -----------------------------------------------------------------------

                  Hi Bentley!

I think I can answer those for you

                  1) I see I can upload videos - does this mean video hosting is included? ie I don't need to use my Amazon S3 account or need to rely on Google Hangouts etc?

Our live webinar options run off of Hangouts and our recorded run off of Amazon but we take care of the hosting costs, not to worry.

                  2) Just out of curiosity - why do you only accept FLV videos? I would have thought MP4 would be the standard (but I am not a webinar pro so perhaps it's different than with typical web videos)

It has been the most effective format for how our software runs and you can convert them online for free pretty easily, we have considered adding more format options for uploading in the future so definitely stay tuned. We really appreciate your feedback, that is great to hear!! Please let us know if you have any questions, we are at your service!

                  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                  The plot thickens...

I agree it is very tempting. I have never attended a Google Hangouts webinar. A while back, I heard the quality of the video isn't that great. I wish someone... maybe an affiliate would come here and announce a demo webinar that we could drop into for a demo.

And YES! MP4 seems very important.

When you login from the details in the email, there is a menu option 'Fusion Club' and in the sub-menu is a link for the Facebook group.

We don't limit your use or require you to have an agency license, but you do only get one login, so if you want your clients to set the webinars up themselves then you would need to give them access, they would be able to see what you have in your WFP back office.

You can set up recorded webinars for as many clients as you'd like.

You can also set up live webinars but someone has to be able to log in to your account to push the start button, you can invite them to be presenters though.

One thing to mention is that we do offer an "import webinar" feature, so if I set up a webinar, let's say a recorded webinar and I set it up in my account and add the video and get everything just perfect as far as the automation and the offer are all set up.

I can then generate a share code for that webinar, give it to you, then you paste it into your back office and boom you have the same webinar I just set up, the video and all the settings. But again that requires a second account to work.

Hi guys, just wanted to stop in and say hello. I have been a member here at WF for awhile and I am the project manager for Webinar Fusion Pro. If you do have questions please feel free to get in touch.

The good news is we are very dedicated to supporting and improving our product to benefit the buyer. We love feedback and suggestions (and we often implement them overnight ) We also have full time support staff as well as training webinars for anyone that is interested.

Right now the price is pretty sweet and should mention it's a lifetime license. After the launch ends that pricing ends and it becomes a yearly charge. So basically the pricing structure is: $50.97 (as of writing this post, we are on a dime sale) gets you the live features. That is unlimited live webbys, unlimited attendees and yes it runs on Hangouts.

Then you can add on the recorded capability for either $77 or $47 (one has extra bonus products, PLR etc but both prices get you the recorded webinar features)

And the recorded is really I think what sets us apart. You can have unlimited recorded webinars (we pay the hosting, you don't) and you can set them up to go every half hour of every day is you want. You also get an "anytime" link for each one which means you can give it to someone and the webinar starts when they get there.

But the really cool stuff is the automation. For recorded webinars you can automate the exact second in the recorded webinar where a powerpoint presentation will appear beneath the video for your audience. You can automate when to ask a poll question, when to pop up your offer with your link on the screen. You can automate a whole audience of chatting people, asking questions at key moments in your presentation. You can automate yourself as the admin answering them. It looks live. And then it is running all day while you go about your business.

Also... 30 day money back guarantee because we think it is that good. Ok ok I'll stop Please feel free to get in touch with any questions

      Thanks for stopping by...

What will the annual charge be?

What features are available with the usually yearly billing?

How does your product differentiate itself from the main competitors like Easy Webinar Plugin, WebinarJam and RunClick?

From what I read in your post above the main additional benefit is timed calls to action both on live and in replay....

Timed power points ...both live and replays...

      ...is that right??

Oh...how do you go with evergreen and running "Private" hangouts?

Also can you serve your webinars from Amazon S3 or is it solely YT?

      Thanks for your responses.

Definitely the automation is where we are different, even if you run the recorded webinar every half hour of the day it never needs to look empty (simulated chatters) it can sync perfectly with what you are doing on screen. Small example:

Your recorded self on screen says "Ok so now are you ready to get started with (((whatever product)))?"

        Then in chat you see:

Samantha (really a bot) says : "Please yes, ready to buy!"

Josh (also a bot says): "Can I pay with Paypal?"

You (also a bot) say : "You bet Josh, just click the link!"

        Then... the offer pops up.

So really, it's just a very cool way to make recorded webinars feel live. Nobody wants to hang out in an empty webinar. You can also pop in to your recorded webinar at any time and take over the controls and actually chat with the people there. You can even do that from your phone, which again is pretty freeing.

Mmm what else.. As you do live webinars it's very easy to turn them in to recorded webinars and so you get more return on the time you invest in the initial webinar because you can use it again and again. We also have the option for paid webinars built in so you just pop in your Paypal addy and you can charge for entry to any webinar, get paid directly.

Mmm I think I answered evergreen above but if not let me know. For "private".. Since the live side of our product does run on hangouts there are some steps to take if you want to keep the webinar totally private but basically I just tell people to use a youtube channel and/or google plus profile that does not have people added to the circles. You can set G+ to not publish that you are in a hangout and you can set the recording on youtube to private, or delete it immediately following the webinar.

You can ban attendees, shut off the chat for them, or set the chat so attendees can only send private messages to the admins. That is both on live and recorded.

No, I don't think it would be a fit in this case because while you can host unlimited webinars you only get one set of logins, you and the members of your network would be sharing one back office. I can give you access to a test account if you want to see exactly how it's laid out just send me a PM

Just like in Hangouts, the live webinars let you have up to 10 people presenting, so that's you plus nine more

    Hi SEO Dollz,

If we are embedding a live or recorded webinar on our own site (not giving out a "webinar fusion pro" link to attendees but giving out our own link to our site) is the embedded webinar potentially buffering and slow if we had a lot of attendees, since our hosting may be on a shared "host gator" plan for example (since it's embedded on our site)....OR is the webinar not compromised at all since you mention the webinar is ultimately hosted on YOUR amazon cloud?

    So in summary...

Does embedding our webinar on OUR OWN SITE mean the quality depends on our hosting plan?

    OR

Does embedding our webinar on OUR OWN SITE mean it ultimately still uses YOUR amazon cloud hosting?

Obviously the reason I'm asking is because the answer to that will dictate how many people I could have on a webinar (on my own site) with quality viewing, and trying to avoid a "FREEZING UP" of the webinar.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dean

This is rather strange and customers should not have to struggle to get their money back
specially if you offer a guarantee on your sales page.

I want to give them a chance to fix this as this is a new product and maybe there are a
few bugs that needs to be taking care of, but right now I'm not having a good feeling about this.

This is just my recent experience with this product and I hope it help someone looking to buy.

PS: please ignore my signature this is something I need to fix!

        George already got his refund

So have around 100 other buyers that took us up on our 30 day money back guarantee out of 6000+ that bought during our launch this week. I'd be happy to help you and I am here offering my help as an extension of the 24/7 support WFP offers to our clients already. Please send me a PM and I will get you a refund just as soon as I recieve it. Thanks!

Thank you SEO Dollz, sounds good.

If anyone else is curious about the answer to my question above, here was her response...

        SEO Dollz:

"Currently you'd embed an iframe and it is definitely hosted remotely, in the case of Live webinars the burden is for us and Hangouts, while the recorded are hosted on amazon S3 (our bill) Hope that helps."

Actually this was sent yesterday immediately after you brought this to our attention at which point we did also send you an email letting you know the refund was complete. Please let me know if you would like me to post screenshots because I am happy to do so.

Actually still waiting on my refund!!!!!!!! Not the best way to do business. It's not the money, it's the principle of it. Just sent off my 3rd request for refund. After this I will stop asking.

How much longer is the intro launch running?

Actually, just looking now, disappointed to see the price shot up $45. Didn't see any warning on that. Guess I'll pass.

      Things to try:

You can limit your bandwidth from inside Google hangouts, the lag and the quality of the video/audio depend largely on what the viewer is working with. If they are on a mobile device on Wifi or traveling then this is something you can do to improve their experience as an attendee. If they have trouble watching youtube or vimeo videos in HD with their connection then you want to make sure your bandwidth is not set to "High" when you broadcast for them.

You can also disable any browser extensions that you may have active before you begin to broadcast. Some browser extensions can interfere with Hangouts.

Lastly, make sure your web cam is plugged in directly to your computer and that you are not running a ton of things in the background. One thing we see a lot is people will put two computers in a room to "test" what the attendee sees. This does not give an accurate gauge of speed/lag since you are simultaneously broadcasting and trying to receive.

This is pretty normal with anything running on Google hangouts.

It appears live to the viewer and you will always have a delay no matter how much bandwidth you have.

That is why there are other more expensive paid live stream solutions.

While I appreciate SEODollz stepping in to help, the intent of this thread was to get reviews from users, rather than support and sales :-)

Anyone has used it and can comment???
