powtoon vs explaindio

Hi Gary. For me money is no object but time and ability to mess around trying things and learning each one's quirks is just not an option.

So since you have both I wonder if you could answer this for me.

I don't want or need cartoon or whiteboard animation. I just want clean classy easy slideshow creation. My main interest in the software is for easy text animation and other effects. (Picture motivational quotes with animated text and different image backgrounds.)

I need high quality, but I also need easy.

Additionally need the ability to create a show. Save it as template to just replace the images and text for each client. And also may need to give it to someone else to use as a template and do their own editing. images/text. (They'd need to buy the software. but could use my template to save time.)

I spend the money on Proshow Producer no problem, but it looks more complicated than I have time to deal with right now.

Again, don't need/want whiteboard - main interest is cool animated text and ability to save and re-use or create a template.

I'm dizzy from looking at options. Which one would you recommend I go with? Or something else?
