Please do not use Hostgator or any other Endurance brand.

I had MDDHosting for about 2 years and was very satisfied. My sites were fast, and support was very good whenever I needed to contact them, which wasn't very often. The only reason I no longer host with them is that I sold the websites I had hosted there, and just no longer needed it. I would use them again in the future if I needed hosting.

I have a shared account with them for some of my domains. Excellent speed and support has been great.

I believe they also had some crazy good coupons out where you can get like 25-40% off annual hosting accounts. In my experience they are on par with hawkhost and a few other smaller hosting companies. You don't see them advertise because they rely on a lot of word of mouth to get people in, which is good because their prices are rock bottom and the hosting is great.

It is not a big hosting company but look like their service is pretty good.

I use them for all of mine and my client's important sites. They are a standout among hosting companies and their tech support is unparalleled. They are always there when you need them and will always go the extra mile, when they can. The best hosting I have ever had at any price.

Please don't mention MDD and Hostgator in the same sentence. That's just wrong. lol

      Cheers. - Frank

I recently (about a few months ago) found out about them and how great they are.

So, I moved one of my smaller sites to test things out. While moving the files I made one mistake somewhere and count get it to work. I contacted the support and within 10 min, yes 10 minutes) I had a response from them telling me they went ahead and fixed the issue, and told me what it was.

As for site speed, the site went from average 2.5 loading to under 1 sec loading.

I haven't had anything buy great experience with them so far, which is why I have moved all my major sites to MDD.

I hadn't heard of them before, and like most people I was hesitant. We always hear about the big hosts, but smaller hosts gives you much more since they have less customers and can pay more attention to you.

I love MDD, and I have been recommending people to them even though I am not even an affiliate of them.

I sign-up all of my clients for their service and wouldn't think of taking an affiliate dollar. They have saved me hundreds of dollars since I have been with them, in time that was not wasted and problems that would have never been solved, elsewhere.

      MDD rocks!

I was with Hostgator from 2006 until 2014, when they were swallowed up by EIG. Even though I didn't have any problems personally, that was the signal for me to head for the exit.

I did a ton of research to find a company which was in the same position now as Hostgator had been at its peak, that is, growing and highly customer-focused.

I found MDD, and sent an email with some pre-sales questions. That was on a Saturday. I received an automated reply telling me that the sales team worked Monday to Friday and I would receive a reply on Monday. Fair enough.

Would you believe this – Michael Denney, the owner of MDDHosting, replied to my email and answered all of my questions on Sunday! You are NOT going to find that standard of customer service everywhere!

I signed up with MDD, transferred my sites, and since then they've been loading faster than ever. MDD are not the cheapest host, but a shared account is still under $10 a month and I do believe they are worth every penny they charge and then some. They would be my current recommendation for anyone who is serious about their business, and especially for anyone who relies on SEO for traffic. Page load speed is an important factor.

For anyone looking for a cheaper host, maybe to host a hobby site, or a host with cheaper reseller accounts, or a host for adult sites which MDD doesn't allow, I'd say Stream101 would be a good choice.

Impressive that CEO replied you on Sunday. Their main office is in Indiana, very different from the other hosting companies. Not sure if their servers are near there as well, then the location of server can be a big issue to consider.

Host Benchmarker - Real, unbiased web hosting comparisons
MDDHosting loading speed is one of the lowest
      uptime is around medium

I think all these 3 and price matter as well.

Price is never an issue for me. I don't do anything on the cheap. Load times and up-time is not a concern, either. The differences are generally miniscule and something that geeks angst over. In the real world, at least in my world, it's no big deal.

The most important thing to me is prompt, friendly competent support.

We all have different needs in life.
