What are the best Website Builders?

WordPress should definitely be on this list. If you're looking for a more traditional website builder, my preference is Weebly.

Umm WordPress is not a website builder, It's a CMS. If you'd classify WP as a website builder then you might as well add Joomla and Drupal.

A website 'builder' is a little vague - what exactly do you mean? There are a lot of systems that result in websites being produced - Wix, Weebly, Artisteer, Kompozer (HTML wysiwyg) WordPress, Drupal, Joomla - it really depends on what you are trying to achieve, like anything you use the appropriate tools to get the job done - one page sites, sales pages, blogs, niche sites, membership sites - I use a range of tools to get pages of different types created.

I personally use Wix. it's pretty simple and easy if you want to build a nice funnel or sales page. Try it out, You can use customization for mobile too!

I know you are asking for an online builder - but they usually also host the site, which means you are not building an asset that you can sell at a later date, and you are always under the builder's control.

I have been using WP Bakery's Visual Composer - it's a drag and drop builder for wordpress, and I love it. It's developed it's own community of coders that have built add-ons for it, and you can find almost anything you need done on your website now. It's super easy to work with and a very, very short learning curve.

Wordpress is so easy to learn - and VC gives you complete control over the layout of your website - you can use their templates or create your own, use one for the whole site or use a different layout for every page.

I've tried a lot of different page builders for WP but this one is my fave so far (for self-hosted blogs only)

Apart from the obvious three (Squarespace, Weebly, Wix) I'd suggest LightCMS and Strikingly. The latter is awesome for one-pagers, whereas LightCMS is more of an all-rounder.

This LightCMS review will hopefully give you some decent insight.

I've been in this IM industry for over 12 years, and have used just about every so called 'website builder' there is.

But by far, '90 Second Website Builder' is THE best site builder I have ever used.

The name's a bit of a misnomer, because this software does just about everything you can think of.

I would never use anything else

And I have no interest in this product.

I agree with post # 9, Thrive Content Builder. I'm using it right now and I am having a blast with it ! I also have Instabuilder and WP Profit Builder. Everyone says these are pretty easy to use, but I have no patience. I just wanted something where I could jump right in and the content builder let's me do that. Not so much of a learning curve.

Guys... Just go to www.clickfunnels.com . Nothing else is even remotely comparable. It almost makes debating about what tool is the best, completely irrelevant and silly. I have no affiliation with them.

Your enthusiasm is understandable; clickfunnels is an excellent product, but a very specialized one. It isn't remotely silly or irrelevant to consider other products depending on one's purposes and priorities.

Clickfunnels has (if memory serves), an ongoing monthly fee of about $97; the same price as Optimize Press charges once, and then you own it forever, and own everything you create with it. Clickfunnel sites are never yours; you essentially are building and then renting them. Once you stop paying the monthly fee, as Melody above pointed out, you have no digital assets, even if you built 100 funnels while you were a member.

I'm not technical, and so I like how Clickfunnels is sort of a funnel builder for dummies, but for more technical people, I imagine it seems too restrictive, and they don't need software made so that even a tech dummy can do it. They'd probably rather use something like Optimize Press, or more advanced than that. Click funnels for them, is probably like selling a pro bicycle racer, a bike with training wheels on it-not a match.

Russel is a great guy, and his community is impressive, but we don't all have exactly the same needs, which is why there will continue to be a market for plugins you can simply buy outright, install, and start building a portfolio of sites with, that you then host and own.

I agree, but the OP was asking for a drag and drop WYSIWYG editor - "tools for people who don't code". Anyone asking for that is not technical, and as you said, Click Funnels is your choice because you're not technical. I'm a little confused with your point?

Good point-a year is long enough to pick already!

My point wasn't any big revelation, just that there are pros and cons to anything, and shopping around doesn't seem silly at all to me. But like you said, most likely a moot point now anyway. You could do a lot worse than Clickfunnels. Cheers

Are you talking about just doing squeeze pages / landing pages or actual full websites for businesses? Click funnel is really just for building lists or selling isn't it?

If you're not technical, I'd go with Beaver Builder. If you want your builder to reflect a conversion emphasis and you're not technical I'd choose Thrive Content Builder.

Ive used most traditional webaite builders man and im begging you not.to use them.

I know wordpress takes work but not much. And 80% of what you do on the site will be stuff you'll learn and remember quickly.

stay away from software. Seriously man. You.vould lose years of work, it happens, with 0 you can do about it.

Learn wordpress. You.can.do it. I waa scared too. But i took the time to learn. It really didnt take much. After 2~3 months i could build one in a day. Post or edit anything i want with my eyes closed.

You can too. Its a lifetime investment in yourself and your skills
