How To Build A Membership Website!

Hi Warriors,

Ive been giving away free video training for a while now and Ive had some good feeback and people like the videos.

Ive always been intrested in setting up a membership websiet so I can recive residual income but dont have a clue how to do it.

I would like to add training videos to the site every week so paying members can access them in a password protected area. But I would also like the members area to get locked if the person stops there monthly payments so they cant get access.

I dont know were to start. Anyone know a good website which provides a template for a membership site? Im willing to pay.

You can pretty much use any site template you want. Then you'll just need to protect the entire folder that the site is in. So a good choice would be to find a good Wordpress Theme, and to locate it somewhere like this: www.yoursite.com/members

You'd then need something like AMember of DLGuard to protect that "members" folder.

Hi thanks for that Alex. But because ive never done anything like protecting files i will struggle trying to work out how to do it. I can make basic websites no problem but never needed to password protect anything before.

Im hoping some one can point me in the right direction to a good product that will show me what to do.

Rob Puddy (fellow warrior) has a good membership script for sale which will do what you need (and a lot more), it's called launch formula marketing.

We're using it over at Affiliate Marketing Bootcamp.

There are other warriors with scripts too. Kymi has one and there are others, so it'll come down to whether you want to learn to use one and your budget.

I believe Kimi sold her script to the original programmer and no longer has anything to do with selling it.

Hello,
the most important thing is to get it right the first time.
It will be very hard to change after you have subscribers,especially
if you use paypal as a payment method.

My recommendations would be Johnny's Simple Member Pro or the Rapid Action Profits Membership package. Both will do what you need.
