Very Terrible Experience with AffiliaXe.com. Anyone Else?

Hello House,

My name is Emmanuel, an internet marketer with over 6 years experience (early 2009 till date). I've been doing IM quite successfully for a long time and I can authoritatively say that I know this stuff very well. Some of the networks I've been working with include MaxBounty, SureHits, Brokers Web (now Katch), Mundo Media, Glispa Media, MoreNiche and more recently BitterStrawberry, CPAWay and CrakRevenue. Throughout my journey I've promoted offers in the Insurance, Education, Dating, Adult, Gaming, Weight loss and a couple of other smaller niches and have generated hundreds of thousands in affiliate commissions till date.

Some of you might be wondering why I'm writing about these, I'm doing this to narrate an experience I had very recently (last month) with an affiliate network based in Israel ==> AffiliaXe.com. It is important I disclose a few information about myself so you can confirm I'm not a new person in IM and my claims on this topic are not borne out of naivety. After my recent experience with AffiliaXe.com I realized it is very possible that lots and lots of affiliates have also been scammed but for one reason or the other have decided to move on quietly. If we all decide to keep quiet then more affiliates will fall victims for sure. Just imagine a new affiliate with a few hundred bucks to spare for display advertising being scammed at the end of the month.. Wonder why lots of people still don't believe that affiliate marketing is true? This thread is not about breaking any rules, trust me I can't be so foolish after 6 years of active marketing online. Read on..

AffiliaXe.com is an affiliate network based in Israel. You will never find any telephone number on their website while applying so all you must do is wait for their email after signing up. I signed up to this network about 3 years ago for the first time and after a telephone interview (from a hidden number and caller) I was approved. However, I became reluctant to run any of their offers after reading lots of negative reviews online from people who felt they've been scammed. I also read comments from people who claim to be okay with the network. Since I was comfortable with the several networks I was already working with I didn't see the need to add yet another network to the mix anymore. After about 2 years my account was blocked for inactivity, so I had to reapply two months ago after a search on OfferVault about a particular gaming offer I was interested in running threw up AffiliaXe.com as the network housing the offer. I was thereafter asked to scan a proof of my earnings with other networks before I could be approved again. This was done and I was instantly approved within minutes!

An affiliate manager was subsequently assigned to me and he was quite close in communicating and recommending offers to me. The gaming offer I originally came for was no longer available and so in order to keep my account active I had to run a few other offers while waiting for them to get a new monthly budget for that particular gaming offer. My affiliate manager was always recommending offers to me and would instantly approve me for any offer I had applied to run. Because my communication with this man was very good I decided to give them a try for real. I ran a few dating offers and had generated about 300+ leads in less than 2 weeks - my traffic source was 100% display and a little search and profit margin was so low. I also use Voluum at the moment (display only) for some deep tracking and to mask my top sources just as most other affiliates do. I decided to run an insurance offer as well (from USInsuranceOnline). I have a direct relationship with the AllWebLeads company, generating 100s of leads directly for USInsuranceOnline and 2Insure4Less with a much higher payout. However, given how helpful my affiliate manager was in responding to my emails I decided to test conversion rates with the same offer on AffiliaXe. This offer at AffiliaXe.com had a far lower payout but I still wanted to compare and contrast conversions between both networks. I was comfortable doing so too and had totally ignored all the warnings online by now.

Just on the 29th of May 2015 (a day to pay period round up) I got the following email:

"Hello,

After reviewing your account, our Compliance and Quality Assurance department has decided to terminate your account with affiliaXe on the grounds of suspected fraudulent activity. As it was determined that your earnings were generated using unapproved means of advertising and/or from fraudulent activity. Your conversions are rejected and your account has now expired, you will no longer have access to it.

Sincerely,

Compliance and Quality Assurance department"

This was a big shock to me! Never had I experienced such a thing in my entire marketing career.. No warnings, no explanations, nothing - just outright termination! My affiliate manager had been sending me new offers up till that day. I laughed it off and realized the warnings online were probably true. Even my so called helpful affiliate manager could not dignify my email inquiry with a detailed response. Guess he didn't know what to say! I replied to that termination email with full details of exact traffic sources together with screenshots showing ALL my online campaigns for their offers to the very last click! My traffic source for the dating offer was 100% display and I made sure that I didn't violate any of their terms. In fact I had used their crappy banners to avoid trouble. For the Insurance offer all I did was replace the links on my site with theirs in order to temporarily redirect traffic to them. Traffic to that site comes from both SEO and SEM and AllWebLeads had implemented a co-branding script on one of my Insurance Sites to improve conversions.

I decided to move on (of course) but then I gave it a second thought, what if the money I expended for this display offer was my last savings and I was a new affiliate? Won't I probably slip into some kind of depression after this experience? Guys please stay away from this network if you can - especially if you are a new affiliate and can't stand this kind of scam at all. No one deserves to be treated this way, it is both criminal and irresponsible. If you've been working with them and gotten paid over and over then good luck to you, but be very careful. Do not put all your eggs in their basket.

Finally, I'd say stick to the known networks - MaxBounty, Mundo Media, PeerFly, ClickBank, and other old and reputable networks. Even if you will love to give AffiliXe a try, do so with a budget you can afford to lose. TO be forewarned is to be forearmed!

Take care and have a very good morning!

Sorry about your experience. Much better to stick with the established CPA networks like Maxbounty and Peerfly. For the fly by night networks, it's always rosy until it gets to payout date. Stay away.
